One of the best restaurants in town in terms of food, service, and atmosphere. Every dish we have tried so far has been excellent. Chef Ron was also really nice and stopped by to offer a recipe!
Excellent food across the board: a bright butter lettuce salad with pistachio and green garbanzo beans, perfectly cooked pan seared halibut with saffron fregola and pistachio butter, and my friend's corn crepe with basil ricotta. The bar was the highlight, though. I had two outstanding High West Campfire Rye manhattans, the best drinks of our entire Seattle trip. Charming and popular restaurant, full of locals so that tells you something. The olive poppers and the zucchini leek fritters were exceptional. The lake trout was also really good, have them bone it for you. The halibut came out dry. Everything else on the plate was delicious and when they saw I didn’t eat it. They asked if it was OK. I mentioned it, they checked it and comped me the meal. I was sad about the fish, but appreciate the effort. It’s really easy...
