Madrona is one of those Seattle enclaves that has done the work of converting older housing stock into something genuinely lovely, and Red Cow is a great example of an operator making the most of it. The driveway of this old house now retail/office has been turned into an outdoor patio for dining, which is a smart use of the bones of the place.

Had the salmon and hanger steak. Mix of sides. Salmon meat was good but it was skin on and the skin could have been more crisp. The steak was very flavourful and tender. Fries were okay. Average frozen Sysco type. Overall I enjoyed it and the vibe. It's in an old house, I assume.

We love this place so much!! Incredible steak, the best fries in Seattle, and an awesome cocktail menu. Fantastic service (shoutout to Isaiah, our fave bartender). Get the horseradish sauce for sure.
