Super good food. Very tasty combinations. Lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options. Nice people. The service was a bit slow because they don't have a lot of staff, so not a place to go if you are in a hurry.
Just walking around Columbia City neighbourhood our first night in Seattle and saw Safari Njema. It was a great first meal in Seattle, got us out of our jet-lag lethargy through the delicious and generous food (and ginger drink) and the warmth and good humour of the owner. We felt our vacation had really started, and on the right foot, too. Great value, also.

Some of the best food I've ever eaten! This was our first time trying Kenyan food and it was AMAZING! The curried goat and tilapia were our favorites, but every dish we had was full of flavor! It took a while for the food to come out, but it was well worth the wait!! Everything was fresh and delicious! The ladies cooking and serving were also friendly and welcoming. We will DEFINITELY be making this a regular dinner spot!Parking: Plenty of spots available at 5pm on Saturday.
