Don’t let them pack your leftover. Insist on packing your own food.
I saw them drop my food on the counter and then put it back in the container. Dirty table cloth was next to it. 🫣🤢
Also saw them touching my food without gloves or anything when trying to put it in the container. Super grossed out and had to throw em away once I got home.
They could just easily bring the container and let the customer pack the leftover ourselves. I don’t know why they insist taking all the dishes and packing food on that narrow dirty counter.
I didn’t say anything. Tipped well. But just want to let other customers know, you can easily avoid that by not letting them pack your leftover.
But now I think about it, maybe they are doing that in the back kitchen. Who know, the hygiene and cleanness is concerning. Won’t go back.

Our favorites here are the liangpi, roujiamo, and stir-fried hand-pulled noodles. We come every week, and it’s so convenient to shop for groceries at the supermarket next door.

A must try located at University District ❤️ I came for the soup and it exceeded my expectations 🥰 The BBQ meat was delicious as well. The dessert was amazing. Not super sweet. I bought several more to go and it’s easy to warm up at home.

I grew up in Xi’an and have always loved authentic Xi’an noodles. After moving to Seattle, my map once took me to another restaurant with a similar name, but the food there was disappointing.
Today I finally found Taste of Xi’an on UW’s 45th Street, and it’s truly the flavor of my childhood. I’m so happy — I’ll definitely be coming back often!

We’ve been coming here for a long time, and just realized our previous review was mistakenly posted to another nearby restaurant with a similar name. There may be several restaurants with similar names in the area, but this one is the real Shaanxi flavor in Seattle! Look for the Terracotta Warriors at the entrance—the address is 4523 in the University District. Highly recommended, and make sure you don’t go to the wrong place!

I used to come here often four years ago and have some wonderful memories from that time. Back then, I was still a student. Coming back now, I appreciate and savor the food even more. Everything feels just the same — one of the waitresses even recognized me! I love everything about this place.😂😂👍👍

Taste of Xi’an in UW is legit! Their hand-pulled noodles and that spicy roujiamo sandwich are so good, it’s like a quick trip to China. Super affordable, which is awesome for students. Had a blast eating here with my friends—chill vibes and the staff’s really nice. Totally recommend if you’re craving something tasty and fun. Gonna be back for sure!
