The Pioneer Square location for Taylor Shellfish continued the trend I've had at their other spots: great seafood, awesome selection, and stellar service. Grabbed a seat at the bar on a super busy evening and had an amazing time trying the shrimp, oysters, and chowder. Everything tasted perfect from start to finish, and the service from the bartender was a highlight for sure. I highly recommend others swing by for a visit.

We stopped in as we were out exploring the area before a Mariners afternoon game and saw their sidewalk sign and dropped in.
The manager greeted us and we sat at the window so we could watch the sights.
The menu had such great items but we went right for the oysters.
They served them fresh, named, and presented well. Of course we had Bloody Marys too that were spicy just like we love.
We look forward to going again!

It was a huge disappointment, especially given how high my expectations were. We arrived about an hour before closing, and it felt like the staff was already focused on cleaning and shutting down rather than serving guests. The servers were not attentive at all, and we waited a long time just to have our order taken.
We ordered the Taylor Shellfish dinner because it was recommended as a way to try a variety of items, but the portions were unbelievably small. literally one bite each. If the quality had been outstanding, I might have been okay, but the food itself was just meh and nothing special.
I really thought this place would be a highlight of my Seattle trip, but it ended up being a major letdown and not worth the time or money.

Wow! How fun is Taylors??? We snuck in at the end of happy hour and went to town!! The staff were the best part. We sat near James Dean from PA, who has worked there for some time. Out waitress was lovely and really rocked our service and her job. The atmosphere was great, simple and clean. The food was awesome. Cool to find out Taylor has their own oyster farm. Those oysters are delicious!!!! I just loved everything we ate. The French bread and butter was simple yes, I know, but off the hook! There was a wee bit of a salty finish to the crust which was divine when it comes to French bread and butter. If you find this or another Taylor's it's worth it!

I sat at the bar and the food and service were excellent. The other patrons were very friendly, too.

A good bar. The food is alright
I’ve been going to Taylor Shellfish as a local for more than 10 years! I love going to this location—I’ve been there for my birthday and special occasion, before sports events. This place is truly special and I love it. Their oysters, clams, geoducks are delicious, the best in the city (this is from someone with Crustacean allergies fyi!). Please stop by this spot if there’s no wait!

Great oyster bar, Geoduck was out of this world! Excellent service - Dana introduced me to my now favorite drink: Corpse Reviver #2. Thank you! 🙇🏼

The oysters here were excellent, so fresh and a lovely flavor. The staff was great and had great recommendations not only for their food but for a place I was going after. I will be back on my next trip!

I travel to Seattle about twice a year and I plan a visit to Taylor Shellfish each time. The seafood is fantastic. The geo duck is the main draw for me. It is alway sweet and briny and refreshing and delicious. It's a miracle. The bloody Mary is strong. Perfect. The service is stellar. I've only encounter a wonderful and informative crew here. I wish I had this restaurant in NYC. See you again.

Excellent selection of Oysters dealing exactly which area in the bays they all came from. Can't wait to be back!

While I like that the this is a local seafood supplier, the food is decent, but mostly standard. Nothing I've had has been bad, but nothing has been memorable or unique either. The raw oysters are probably the highlight.

This place was great. Had a group of 6 and the staff was accommodating. They were very knowledgeable and told us all about the local favorites and what is exclusive to the region. The chowder and oysters were our favorites.
