Candice is literally the greatest bartender in the history of bartenders. This place is amazing, great happy hour and all the staff are super friendly. 10/10
It felt like they resent having to be a bar or something. Like everyone was just unhappy to be there. Maybe it was just a bad day, but it definitely wasn't for me.
First things first, I'm writing this review because this place charges $11 for a White Claw. What a racket, why is anyone paying ballpark prices for drinks at a normal bar?

The Runaway is a bar located on Cap Hill with a punk semi-dive ambiance and a fun trivia night. Drinks include berry vodka lemonade, beers on draft, and boozy slushies. While the drinks are reasonably priced, food can be ordered from the neighboring restaurant, Bok a Bok, but be aware that it may take over an hour to arrive. The bartenders are welcoming and friendly, providing good service despite being busy. However, the bar can get warm due to the lack of air conditioning. Overall, it's a solid choice for a night out, especially for trivia or a casual gathering.
