Vatsana's is in our neighborhood, and we tried for the first time tonight. We ordered basic dishes and were blown away by how elevated the flavor was. The portions were large, which is a pleasant surprise during these recession times. I would suggest checking it out, we were pleasantly surprised!

First I just want everyone to know, who is ordering Pad Thai from this place, don’t get it. Order the peanut sauce noodle. It’s what your looking for. I don’t know why it’s not called Pad Thai, but yeah. The Pad Thai here is definitely just ketchup. But once you get past that, it’s pretty good. Lots of negative reviews on here, they must be ordering something different. I eat at a lot of different Thai food restaurants and almost always get chicken Pad See Ew. The worst thing I have to say about the experience I had here was the spice being underwhelming for 3/5 compared to other shops. It was about 3-5$ more than I would generally expect to spend for Pad See Ew ($17.75) but I got an absolutely massive serving.
