We visited the downtown Wild Ginger before a show at Benaroya Hall. We experienced good-to-great, attentive service, with food that was okay. Our pot sticker appetizers arrived lukewarm, the butter chicken sauce was separated, and our green beans were lukewarm when they arrived at our table. At this price point, food needs to arrive at the table hot.
The food was excellent and the service was fantastic as well. Very consistent with what I remembered from years ago. The fragrent duck remains a favorite dish. The restaurant itself looks well kept. The prices are normal for that level of food in Seattle. The only negative was the ladies room-- very shabby and not very well attended/cleaned. Really needs a refresh or a deep clean-- brings down the experience of such a beautiful restaurant.
Very pleasant ambiance and excellent service for a tasty lunch. A good place to have conversation over a meal with friends. The management was also very receptive and responsive to feedback.
