In general I think they are overpriced, but I take advantage when they send me deals and coupons. You can always find a deal through their website. I never pay the menu prices here, but am always satisfied with what I walk away with for the price I paid. The staff are always very friendly as well, and I've never had a problem.“

“This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant in town who truly knows what Chinese food is suppose to taste like. They make a great Hot and sour soup, their pot stickers are excellent, the sweet and sour chicken is abundant and the shrimp with pea pods delicious. The restaurant itself is not very inviting, hence most people place their orders to go but it is very worth the effort.“

“Thieves!!!!! This used to be our fav Mexican food place BUT they habitually double charge or add additional orders on your credit card. Several times they have added items to our bill that we didn’t order and waitress had to take them off. The last time, we had dinner and bill was $54. When I got my bank statement, the $54 plus tip charge was there AND a charge for $107. I called them repeatedly and each time the lady acted like she couldn’t speak English and kept telling me “no manager” and “not today. I had to dispute it with my bank. My husband was telling a coworker what happened and that person’s parents had the same thing happen to them!!!!!!! If this happened to 2 random orders, I’m sure it’s happened to others. NEVER going back. YAKIMA BEWARE!“

“I always get the "Bigfoot" chicken fried steak meal, which is consistently tasty and generously portioned. The hash browns were crispy, and my eggs were cooked perfectly. The price was worth it though for one of the better and more generously portioned breakfasts I've had. To top it off the wait staff were all consistently friendly and helpful. For classic American breakfast, go here and brave the wait if you have to.“

“A little bummed today, we are 100% Taj supporters and have gone here since the initial owner Jessie and her husband opened it. This was the first time we’ve been back after they closed their buffet for awhile. No rice pudding, which was always a staple with the mango and empty hot food bins, sauce but no meat. They’ve also moved the buffet right in the way to walk into the restaurant, so when there is a line, you can’t get around for the restroom or you have to wait for people to move when you are being seated. I dunno, not a top 10 day there today in my book, however, we’ll still go. I appreciate that they finally reupholstered their booths.“

“This place is a favorite here in Yakima. I am vegetarian and there is lots of options for me to try new dishes. My boyfriend loves the Gyro sandwich and we both enjoy all of the appetizers. You get a really filling meal for the price you pay. We love coming here, the waiting staff is very kind and attentive, the place is warm and beautiful, and the kitchen staff really know what they’re doing when it comes to the food. 100% recommend spending some time here!

Vegetarian options: I eat very little meat if any. This place has great options for vegetarians. I’ve changed my regular order several times and have never had to order something with meat or stick to the same dish. They have many salads, veggie kabobs, their falafel sandwich which is my personal favorite, an amazing lentil soup, greek fries, saffron rice, etc. I highly recommend for someone looking for some different vegetarian options.“

“My first visit was an incredible trip from Oregon through this region. I loved finding a lunch box with such delicious tacos and quesabirria. It is totally recommended. I asked for Iced Tea .. brought to me immediately and then the second gentleman asked if he could get something for me .. he brought me a small loaf of that delicious bread nicely warm and butter!! It was delicious!! I would like to commend those two gentlemen!! Your restaurant is phenomenal as well as elegant!!! Thank you!! “I was completely shocked a couple weeks ago when my husband and I went to breakfast at waffle Café on 72nd. We stopped going for a long time because the atmosphere was horrible. It was dirty. The food changed, it was bland, greasy and had gone downhill. This time it was absolutely amazing, the restaurant was much cleaner, the food was much better and the atmosphere was a lot more welcoming. A few days ago I went to get a gift card for a family member who use to eat there but stopped because of the lack of sanitary and food. While getting the gift card I asked the gal if there was a new owner, she said no, and I told her that we were , very surprised how welcoming and clean and how much better the food has been. I asked if they had a management change and she said yes that she was the new manager. I told her thank you for the job that she’s done making the café more welcoming again. Its nice to see that somebody cares about the cleanliness and the food in their establishment. We will be going back.“

“The food is well priced. You get good portions for your money. Flavor wasn’t there. The food was just okay. It’s my first time trying them and I would give them another try because all the ingredients seemed fresh but the dough and calzone were really dry and the flavor was lacking. Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian option that we found, a veggie burrito, but it was pretty big and tasted amazing. Free chips and salsa when you get there, careful the salsa has a bite, but is also full of flavor and obviously fresh.“
