“Try the weird seasonal flavors. Just do it. They aren't just advertising gimmicks, they are almost always incredible even when they sound challenging. Chocolate covered crickets? So good. Blue cheese? I don't know how they pulled it off but the did. Candied turkey skin? Omg just take my money.“

“Found this place for dessert after dinner at Din Tai Fung around the corner. Went for the Chocolate Tahini, and WOW was it good! Was half way back to my car, enjoying my vegan ice cream cone while walking, and literally turned around to go back and get a pint to bring home. Super good!“

“great ice cream place! little pricy at $7 a single scoop but yummy! they have lots of vegan options and lots of different flavors that are unique. Jay was very kind and let us try a bunch of flavors even though there was a lot of flavors. would recommend if you want thick unique ice cream, waffle cone was great too.“

“I love Frankie and Jo's. I've been a huge fan for probably at least a decade now.
Really you cannot get better vegan and gluten-free ice cream anywhere.
When I moved away from Western Washington, seven years ago, I will admit that multiple times I have had their pints shipped to my house, especially with their limited edition seasonal flavors.
So when I'm in town, this is absolutely one of my must stops. This last weekend was no exception. I visited their Ballard shop, and I got their miso moon in a waffle cone.

Best pistachio, hazelnut… You name it their’s is the best. These nut gelatos are not made out of flavored surgery syrups. They are made out of puréed nuts. No ice cream in Seattle can compare.“

“Come here often on my way to the tram station from work. Good atmosphere around that time. Lots of options, I like to ask for a recommendation and have yet to be disappointed. Card only!!!!! Come prepared. Shout out to the guy who told me about the tournament nights (not sure if they’re still happening) when we were talking about yugioh. Looking forward to that if it ever happens again!
A general note -
For other people who like to go alone to places: there is wall facing seats tucked in the far side of the building, that’s where I like to sit to avoid the families with kids. I watch YouTube or play a game when I’m there.
For families: that same area is a quieter part of the building great for overstimulated little ones or breastfeeding if needed.

“Always consistent, order the same drink for the past few years and she always remembers it, pretty fast for just her in there and the quality of her products are amazing!
Parking: She rents out her extra parking spaces for 10 each for the lake nearby when their parking lot gets full during summer. She’s and awesome person and i think that’s a great idea considering she normally does espresso/icecream“

“Bluebird has the best salted caramel ice cream I’ve ever had! Don’t go here on a hot day though… they don’t have air conditioning and my ice cream was fully melted by the time I took my 2nd bite.“
“We booked Nutty Squirrel to cater our wedding dessert in May, and we were so happy we did! The cart was adorable, the staff were friendly and attentive (even suggesting that my husband and I pose for a picture scooping the gelato, which is precious), and the gelato was absolutely delicious. We are still getting comments about how much people loved having the gelato cart there -- people flocked to it and went back for seconds. We would highly recommend booking Nutty Squirrel for your event!“

“Great ice cream for the best price around. This is a completely volunteer-based ice cream shop where the ice cream is sold at cost and the student workers work for tips and good times. The atmosphere is cool, with games to play in the lounge area and usually a movie or music videos playing on a projector on the wall. They have scoops, cones, milk shakes, and fresh baked cookies (and cookie-ice cream sandwiches). A great place for a casual date, a study break, or to meet new friends.“

“I don’t get the bad reviews.... This place is amazing. From the ice cream to the food. Of course it’s a bit pricey. It’s a small privately owned business. It’s not a chain. The owners are incredibly nice people. I’ve been going here for more than 20 years and I can’t say enough good things. It’s not their fault parking is limited. It’s Madison Park... They have continued to offer the best ice cream, food, and service even during unprecedented times. I bring my kids here, and have been going since I was a kid. Not many places left where you can share childhood memories with your children.“

“So I really wanted cookies when my buddies and I were on a bachelor party trip and they wanted ice cream, so I found out this place has cookie dough so while they got ice cream, I got insanely delicious cookie dough that only cost me $3.28 for THREE CHUNKS OF COOKIE DOUGH (see picture below, I ate one before I could even get my camera out). WHAT A STEAL. Anyways, the wedding was fun but the cookie dough will never be forgotten. 5/5.“

“I recently tried their new Orange Bitters Thai Tea - SO GOOD. It reminds me of a high quality mocktail that’s super delicious and refreshing.
I have also previously tried their regular Thai Tea and Thai Green Tea. Both are really good but I love how unique the Thai Green Tea tastes!
Love their drinks and will definitely return and bring friends.“

The staff is helpful. Deduct one point due to the address for pick up was mis-leading-leading me to hotel not the shop.“
