“I’ve been to Salt & Straw locations in every major city down to LA, and they’ve been great experiences. Today Rhea in Ballard knocked it out of the park like I’ve never seen before. She was incredibly kind and attentive, and made me feel incredibly welcome. I would recommend this shop to anyone, and I wish all the best for Rhea!“

“I am visiting Seattle for a conference. We walked for 20mins to find actual ice cream. This business was awesome. From the moment we entered the store the young lady behind the counter(with pigtails) was amazing. I wish I would have gotten her name. She was super friendly and informative so 10stars for service. The ice cream was super delicious and smooth. I had the caramel ribbon it was AMAZING!“

“We had some time to waste before a game we were attending at UW. We came upon this place and after looking at the menu decided to go in and check it out. They have such unique but delicious flavors of ice cream. We ended up coming back after the game and dinner to get some more for dessert. Will definitely be back again.“

Best pistachio, hazelnut… You name it their’s is the best. These nut gelatos are not made out of flavored surgery syrups. They are made out of puréed nuts. No ice cream in Seattle can compare.“

“I have spent way too money at Frankie & Jo's. On the one hand, they have objectively some of the best ice cream I've ever tried. (Sticky Sweet in Maine is another top contender.) But I legit feel embarrassed to bring friends here because of the price — a split scoop on a cone costs upwards of $15, which is almost double what it costs at other high-end ice cream places (e.g., Salt & Straw). Kind of wish they wouldn't use so many specialty ingredients (like flax seeds in the waffle cones?) so they could bring the prices down. I do really like their soft serve, though. I know they had some trouble with the machine in the summer of 2024, so hopefully that'll be back for next year.“

“One of my favorite places in Seattle! Great beer selection, tons of non alcoholic options, rotating food trucks, lots of seating, dog and kid friendly. There is also a big snack selection, heaters in the outside area (under the awning, not the lot with the food trucks). Trivia on Wednesdays can be very full, so if you go to that then I recommend getting there early. You can bring your own food if you aren’t feeling the food truck as well, but corkage applies if you bring your own booze.“

“Went during opening time and it was busier than i expected, however, the staff was very kind and they were very fast with our order. We got multiple drinks and even the Rice Roll. The drinks were delicious the roll was great and filling! The place was well decorated and it seemed to have very relax atmosphere. Overall my experience was very positive I highly recommend it :)“

“Absolutely outstanding customer service! Chose this location even though it's an extra 25 minutes away. Vanessa was extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and patient! She took the time to walk me through ordering the cake, made sure that it was exactly the way I wanted it, answered all my questions, even helped secure specific candles for my daughter's special day. I am beyond impressed and pleased with the service. Thank you Vanessa!

“My kids and I came into this Menchies store in Lynnwood, and we love it because of a worker named Sarah. She will go above and beyond for her clients and is kind and professional. Because it was fill the cup for $7, the store was busy, but she still smiled and managed to balance a full store of customers. More employees like Sarah are what we need.“
“This location is always staffed with friendly folks! They also do huge scoops! It can get busy on weekend afternoons but mostly when we visit there’s a reasonable amount of customers and the wait is always minimal. Clean store, yummy ice cream!“

“Always consistent, order the same drink for the past few years and she always remembers it, pretty fast for just her in there and the quality of her products are amazing!
Parking: She rents out her extra parking spaces for 10 each for the lake nearby when their parking lot gets full during summer. She’s and awesome person and i think that’s a great idea considering she normally does espresso/icecream“

“I don’t get the bad reviews.... This place is amazing. From the ice cream to the food. Of course it’s a bit pricey. It’s a small privately owned business. It’s not a chain. The owners are incredibly nice people. I’ve been going here for more than 20 years and I can’t say enough good things. It’s not their fault parking is limited. It’s Madison Park... They have continued to offer the best ice cream, food, and service even during unprecedented times. I bring my kids here, and have been going since I was a kid. Not many places left where you can share childhood memories with your children.“

“Great ice cream for the best price around. This is a completely volunteer-based ice cream shop where the ice cream is sold at cost and the student workers work for tips and good times. The atmosphere is cool, with games to play in the lounge area and usually a movie or music videos playing on a projector on the wall. They have scoops, cones, milk shakes, and fresh baked cookies (and cookie-ice cream sandwiches). A great place for a casual date, a study break, or to meet new friends.“

“So I really wanted cookies when my buddies and I were on a bachelor party trip and they wanted ice cream, so I found out this place has cookie dough so while they got ice cream, I got insanely delicious cookie dough that only cost me $3.28 for THREE CHUNKS OF COOKIE DOUGH (see picture below, I ate one before I could even get my camera out). WHAT A STEAL. Anyways, the wedding was fun but the cookie dough will never be forgotten. 5/5.“

“I’m happy with my experience at this location. Froyo is always my go to dessert when I’m craving something sweet but not too sweet. Also they offer a good variety of toppings, I personally would recommend cheese cake bites, mochi, and popping boba. You won’t go wrong with original flavor if you like very light sweetness as I do, trust me.“
