“Not sure what has taken me so long to try this place (other than the fact it’s not convenient from the Valley). I love that the burritos are not filled with mostly rice and beans (like another popular drive through Mexican restaurant). Their refried beans are a little different than what I have had. Do they cook them in bacon grease? I don’t know! What I do know is this place deserves more visits! Prices are reasonable, portion sizes are large, and when you order a meat in your burrito…you get the meat and not rice wrapped in a tortilla!“

“First visit for lunch. The menu was very different from other Mexican restaurants with lots of chorizo, menudo, and other very authentic items. The Los Habanero queso was the best I’ve ever had. Prices were good and the place was very clean. I will be back“

“I recently visited this Mexican restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and decent price!. The salsa was flavorful with just the right amount of kick, and the nachos hit the spot, especially for my pregnancy craving. The toppings were fresh, and the combination of melted cheese, guacamole, and jalapeños made for a satisfying dish.

The enchiladas were delicious as well, with a good balance of sauce and cheese. The rice and beans on the side complemented the meal nicely. Portions were generous, leaving us quite full by the end.

Service was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, which made for a comfortable dining experience.

Overall, a great spot to satisfy a craving for Mexican food. I’ll definitely be back!“

“This is by far my favorite Mexican food restaurant! The staff are super. The cooks are amazing plus they have a fully stocked bar! We normally come for lunch but decided to do dinner this evening. It was packed but got right in after a 2 minute wait!“

They would write down my name, so when I placed my order came thru with Uber I could get flour tortillas. I placed my order and tried to call back like to let them know I placed my order. They simply ignored my phone calls. Then my order arrived with corn tortillas and was completely wrong, sloppily put together with queso and salsa everywhere. When I called to speak to the manager I was hung up on. They will not answer the phone and will not call back. The chips were stale and old. It is certainly odd they would tell me that it was no problem and then completely ignored my calls. . My order sucked. Food was sloppy, stail and disgusting. I used to order from here all the time and now I will never go back. Management or owners have to do something or this place will be gone soon. “I was very impressed with little spot today. I’ve tried just about every Taqueria in Spokane, it’s also my comfort food. So I try beans and rice with salsa first, when I find a new place. That is just what I did today and geez it was good, thank you guys. The half tray I got was very full to the top, the perfect mix of beans and rice, a nice pile of cheese on the beans. It was hot and that was perfect. The salsa was really a treat, I would say some of the best tasting I’ve found in Spokane maybe the best and It looked really good, green actually tasted like green, the red was hot and tasted like a red,…that says a lot to me. All of the food-smells good- I really enjoyed what I tasted, and importantly all the food I’ve seen here looks very good. I think this little place does know what they are doing in the kitchen. I look forward to trying other things they have here I can’t wait.“

“Another of my restaurants in which I said “if I ever make it back to Spokane…” I would eat at. And I did. It was what I expected. It’s been 25 years or so since I last had Senior Froggy and wanted the crisp meat burritos. They were slightly different than i remember, like they slightly changed the filling. Or likely more I remember them differently.

I knocked a star for atmosphere, not for anything done, but rather the restaurant looked a little dated. Honestly doesn’t shock me and seems fast food is different here than down in Texas in that it costs a bit more than I am used too.

But overall I do recommend still and might give it another try before I leave again.“

“This is the best Mexican food in Spokane. Good portions, delicious fresh tasting food, never greasy. Lots of salsas to choose from in their salsa bar. Local family owned small business. Employees are always cheerful and happy to help. The food has been excellent every time. Go here over Gerrados or Atilanos for sure. Those places have great food, but this place has excellent food.“

“Only eat there. never order delivery through a service. they will mess up everything you order for delivery, every single time. want to add sour cream? they'll put it in the wrong burrito. want to remove a sauce? they'll put on extra. this happens across every location in Spokane, every single time I've gotten delivery. again, only eat in store, and not the Sprague store, it's disgusting in there. last time I was in there they had dead flies on the tables and a leaking ceiling.“

“This store never disappoints. I came from the valley and passed 3 taco times to go to this one. The food is intentionally put together and immensely delicious. Do I go to another taco time and get mediocre food, or do I go out of my way to get what I know will be outstanding…. They did not disappoint. From the amazing customer service from the window, the food intentionally place in the bag, and the delicious food; evenly portioned and exactly why I asked for with my customizations. You guys never disappoint! I didn’t get it tonight but their breakfast burritos are the only fast food breakfast I will eat. It is SO good.“
