New owners took over, Fall 2025. Food is excellent. We had the Chicken Cordon Blue as well the Beet Salad. Both were prepared well. This is wine and beer only. No hard liquor. The wine list is a bit limited, but that may change over time. The current selections are good and reasonably priced. It was quiet, so table conversation wasn't loud.
I like to treat myself every once in awhile by eating here. I never get anything but the schnitzel with mushroom gravy, which comes with cucumber salad and German potato salad. I also get the bread pudding. I was a little worried when ownership changed but the three times I have eaten this meal since the change have assured me that the quality is just as good as before. I read a recent review on Yelp the other day that was negative and after reading other reviews by the person...
The wife and I have been into eating and cooking German food for the past six months or so. I am half French/German and wanted to get in touch with the food culture. Needless to say out of the half dozen restaurants we have been to for it this is by far the best I have had. I am extremely impressed. Try the duck ;)
