I had the pleasure of eating here for lunch today. It was recommended by a dear friend that is no longer with us (R.I.P. M.W.). I shared the fried oysters with the hubby. O! M! G! We will be back!
Such a friendly place. I love broasted chicken, so finding Hans’s so close to our new house is fantastic! Looking forward to many many meals here!

While the chicken is a must-try, with huge portions of hand-tossed wings, tenders, and fried seafood, some still wish for different portion options. The place has a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of an old-school tavern with a history dating back to the 1940s. Although it is a bar and not the most kid-friendly place, the reasonable prices and good service make it a popular choice. There is ample parking in back, and it can get quite busy on certain nights. Overall, Hans's Place is a great hole-in-the-wall for a delicious chicken night with a cold beer and an assortment of dipping sauces.
