It reminds me of how Seattle coffee culture used to be. Lux is a place you can hang out for a while and feel welcome! The owner and the shop are big assets to the neighborhood.

It offers superb coffee with great flavor and just the right amount of strength, along with delicious pastries and locally made food like the ham and cheese and vegan breakfast sandwich. The baristas are friendly and pleasant to talk with, making it a laid-back spot for locals. Justin, the owner, and his dog welcome guests into the dive bar-style shop. It's a great place to study, work remotely, or stop off the freeway, with good conversation, merch, and ample parking. The seating may be uncomfortable for extended periods, and the bathroom could benefit from cleaning. Despite these minor drawbacks, it is worth revisiting if in the area.
