“Exceptional food and staff. We ate dinner at The Wandering Goose for the first time and wow, amazing portions, food quality, service, and a Gus, the humongous dog that greets guests. I had the wedge salad with a very flavorful buttermilk dressing and pieces of delicious candied bacon. My husband enjoyed a cup of razor clam chowder and fried chicken. Bring your appetite! My husband said it was the best fried chicken he ever had and was served with mashed potatoes with gravy, collard greens, and a biscuit the size of a salad plate. I had a few bites of the biscuit and it was the best I’d ever eaten. We finished with a shared a chocolate toffee bread pudding with ice cream and coffees. Just as amazing as dinner. We liked it so much that we are going back for breakfast. 😊”

“Highly Recommend! Cheesy Chowder Fries were scrumptious! The prime rib dip was perfect. And the mushroom Swiss burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back next weekend for breakfast and I’ll get pies to go as well! It’s worth the drive!”
