“Side quest for Hawaiian food is always comforting, and Kauai Family Restaurant is the spot for it. They’ve got all your Hawaiian favorites on the menu. I ordered a couple of the combos and some katsu—everything was solid. Some items were a bit on the salty side for my taste, but still enjoyable. It wasn’t too busy when I went, so the food came out pretty quick. The vibes inside really made you feel like you were in Hawaii. Definitely check their hours before you go, since they’re mostly open just for lunch and early afternoon.“

“I looked up musubi and this place came up with really good reviews. I was not disappointed. I got three different kinds of musubi. Tempura prawns, spam and Portuguese sausage. All of them delicious. I also ordered a combination plate and got machicho(sp?)chicken and the shoyu chicken. I used to compete in barbecue and the shoyu chicken is a prize winner. So far nothing has disappointed me. Don't expect it to be super clean. The table tops were ok but the floors had all kinda dust and stuff. They do have really nice pictures up though. Make sure if you don't see anyone up front they have a bell next to the POS.“

“This has always been my time favorite restaurant in Seattle! I love that I can order some fish tacos or tortas to-go, especially in the summer when it’s just so pleasant to eat outside. I love the fusion of Mexican, Asian, and Pacific Islander cultures in the food because it represents the cultures in Seattle, especially south end.“

Uncle even was kind enough to take pictures with me n family🫶🏼I treated myself to a cinnamon roll, coconut shortbread, Mama’s coconut, chocolate chip macadamia, lilikoi cookies, and even their luau pisupo with taro—and everything was absolutely delicious. “We used Buddha Brudda catering for our wedding at Treehouse Point in July 2025. Not only were Drea and the entire team incredibly easy to work with leading up to the day, but the food was FANTASTIC, and the whole dinner service and bartending staff were so kind and accommodating the day of.

We worked with Drea to customize a menu that fit our needs, which included family-style service instead of buffet, which worked beautifully for our small group of 20 guests. We also opted for pre-dinner appetizers (charcuterie cones, egg rolls, etc) and late-night snacks (sliders, mac salad cups) for our overnight guests, which everyone LOVED!!

Keep in mind they do not do linens, plates/cutlery (beyond bamboo/plastic) or glassware, but were extremely accommodating by picking up/dropping off our rental order from a nearby events company. It was a HUGE help and one less thing for us to arrange.

Our guests absolutely loved the food - all of the appetizers, dinner, late night snacks, and on-the-fly sangria the bartender made with wine/tea/lemonade was fantastic.

“I cannot even begin to explain how excited I was for this meal. I may or may not have had a little wine and a gummy (as one does), so the vibes were already high. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry and the Homemade Hamburger Steak with Gravy, and let me tell you—both were absurdly good. Like, offensively delicious. I usually roll my eyes when people say “amazing” too much, but here? Yeah. Worth it.
Let’s talk katsu. Instead of breast, it’s made with thigh meat—an absolute revelation. Juicy, flavorful, life-changing. I had to sit down (and yes, I was already sitting). But here’s the kicker: the leftovers. I reheated the curry-soaked katsu in the air fryer and it became next-level. The sauce seeps into the breading, then the air fryer brings back the crisp like magic.
And honestly? The real move is to fry it again after the curry hits. Re-fry. Trust me. The sauce-infused breading turns into this glorious crunch-meets-savoriness situation that’s borderline unfair. I would order this dish again just for the leftovers. Delicious the first time around, but the remix? Absolute perfection. 10/10, would air fry again.“

“The owners are truly kind, grateful people. The food is fresh- I had a Poke bowl with Salmon and avocado, and it was FULL of good flavor. My kids were crazy about the BBQ Chicken- awesome portions and fantastic sweet/smoky flavor! My wife tried the Yakisoba, and loved all the vegetables. “Came in for lunch to a modest looking family owned establishment. Greeted by nice lady at the counter where we ordered some poke. Friendly service, seems like a small family operation with maybe two people running front and back. The meal came out when it came out but we weren’t at all in hurry. Generous portions and quality of fish surprised me for being all the way out in Kent. Looking forward to definitely come back again.“

“L&L food has always been good, especially the spam musubi and loco moco. I usually split the larger loco moco order since it's a lot. Staff was friendly, patient and accomodating with our orders and questions. Will definitely try to come back to this location.“

“Up until now, the only authentic poke spot that I found in WA was Ono Poke in Edmonds. I was born and raised in Hawaii so I don’t enjoy any of the inauthentic build-your-own poke type places. I was pleasantly surprised by this spot and would definitely eat here again!

The poke plate was $22 so after tax and couple bucks tip you’re looking at like $27. It seemed expensive until I started eating and noticed how much poke there was. Very fresh, seasoned well, so good. Unfortunately their Hawaiian poke had no limu which honestly sucks. And it was super heavy on the onions, which was a plus for me. There’s major construction in the parking lot right now but it was still easy to pull in and park. Come support this local business and keep authentic poke in WA!“

“This is one of my favorite poké spots. Short of making it myself, this is my go-to. Delicious, high quality fish with all the fixings you could ask for. The helping of fish is ample and consistent. This place also doubles as a boba shop! Can't recommend enough for my poké fans out there. Try the house shōyu and dynamite combo for your bowl 🔥

Parking: It's in a mall, so there is always parking right out front any time of day.

“I felt so strongly that I had to leave a review, I've eaten here once, and I had the katsu burger, which has TWO KATSU PATTIES, which was awesome. I'm usually a fan of the mountain of lettuce shreds but for the price? That was so worth it.“

“I've been a weekly customer since this location opened a few years ago, so I'm long overdue for this review. I can confidently say that this is the best Just Poke in the greater Seattle metro area. First and foremost, the staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Their lunch rush occurs in the heart of the biggest corporate building in Seattle, and they always handle it with kindness and efficiency. I usually order the build-your-own bowl, and I can't recall a single time I've had issues with my order as they were making it. The portions are more than enough for a filling lunch. The ingredients always taste fresh, and I can tell that the staff take extra care to maintain a clean kitchen, reflected in the food quality. Compared to other Just Poke locations in Seattle, the Columbia Tower location is just a step above. I've got no complaints, and I look forward to continue being a loyal customer for years to come!“
