“Kauai is the ONLY place my Hawaiian son-in-law will go when he wants/needs a taste of home! You go for the food and the people. It's in a small retail strip in Georgetown. Nothing fancy.

They have catered each grandson's 1st birthday celebrations!!! YUM!!

And of course, you have to stop next door at the bakery for amazing cakes and sweets. We recommend the Guava cake!!“

“I used to visit Seattle for years every other month and there was never a question if I was going to make time to visit my favorite Hawaiian food spot.
I have not had a dish here I did not like but I always come back to the faithful spicy huli huli chicken. The Mac salad is perfect blend of tangy, savory and creamy. Taste great mixing it in with a little sriracha or the left over huli sauce. The slaw gives a great crispy fresh texture without overpowering the main dish.
The staff has always been so nice and it’s great to have a place you don’t have to find parking as they have some spots in the back. The portion size is huge and well worth what you pay. Would recommend this place to anyone who lives here or is visiting. I know I make my trip to come get it regularly.“

“Freshly made spam musubi close to Pike Place Market. Honestly, a great selection of flavors. My wife was happy to grab one. Overall, a great spot for a quick bite on a budget, for dine-in and/or takeout. They also have some classic Korean/Asian snacks.

I have tried spam musubi in Hawaii, and this one is superior.“

We ended up getting another plate to go so we could enjoy it at home the next day! “I got the Spicy Pork Torta and… Oh. My. God. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, hands down! The perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory! Plus the bread seemed fresh and there was still some crunch to the veggies. It was a little messy because of the sauces, but honestly, I do *not* care. It’s worth it! I also got a small side of the Mac salad. That was really good as well but it’s not anything special like that torta was. Hoping to revisit in the future! Idk about their other locations but this one is on point!“

The person working was SO wonderfully accommodating with some food allergies and also was super kind to give enough food for both me and my partner to eat. “I gave you all five stars because everything came up perfect. Because of hot and moisture, but that's fine. I'm not too worried about it, but everything else, your Musubi of Spam and your Portuguese Sausage Musubi, was great. I stayed a little bit for that chicken burger, which was really good too. Everything else came out perfect. In fact, it was cheaper than Kent. The one in Kent restaurant was more expensive than the one in Burien, and also it was fresher, so people that will go to Burien would be better.“

“This is a poke spot that’s open during the work week mainly for lunch. Compared to similarly priced poke bowls at 45th Stop N Shop (near WF market), I didn’t like the poke flavor here as much. I got one of the house specials and I think the flavor of the poke alone wouldn’t be quite a 4-star for me.

They have more variety of poke than Fob sushi - there are shrimp and scallop poke. However, while their portion size is slightly larger, they are also more expensive than Fob sushi. Also, I didn’t like that they used a lot of sauce - this might be avoided if I went with a custom bowl.

However, I will say that I visited during peak lunch hour - there was no line and the place was very chill. The worker there was also nice.“

“The pike place bowl did it for me and then some!! I had half of my bowl in the restaurant where I got to people watch, then picked up up target ordered upstairs and finished the rest of my bowl on a bench in the park just north of the plaza. I have absolutely no complaints about the bowl. If the service was a little better I would've rated this bowl a 5.“

“This was my first tome ever having poke so I needed a lot of help with the menu throughout the process.

After waiting for the 1 person working to finish cleaning duties (you are supposed to stop immediately, wash up and help the customer), he finally came over after about 4 minutes. He did not even acknowledge us until he came over although it was obvious we were there

He then just assumed I new everything I wanted and was slightly annoyed that I didnt. After helping me with the first choice, another woman came out to finish helping me and she was definitely annoyed with all of my questions. Wow. The reason you have a job is because you have customers. No customers, no business, no job.

I then asked for water and was pointed to the large water jug...which when I got to it did not have any cups, so I had to wait for them to finish with a customer who was also new and taking a really long time to ask for a cup. He said they were supposed to be out there. Maybe he should have been refilling things customers needed than the deep cleaning he seemed to be doing upon arrival

My food was just ok. Definitely not worth going through that so I wont return

Businesses need to realize with high food prices, we will be more selective with where we go and I am not giving my business to this type which lacks customer care

“I have been here once before this review. Between then and now the quality appears consistent, and for 3pm on a Wednesday there is plenty of room for everyone.

It was $19 after tips per person. Not thr cheapest meal you will have. But it is Poke after all so that cost should be expected.

Meal size was acceptable for the cost. You certainly wont have left overs, but I doubt you will leave hungry.

I'd stop in again.“
