“Stopped by for an early dinner, plenty of street parking in the area.We ordered:Catfish Fillet Dinner with hush puppies & greensSide of Corn BreadPeach CobblerBoyyyyyyy oh boy, loved everything. I really enjoyed the catfish fillets. Perfectly seasoned, crispy and the sauce is basically drenchable. I added hot sauce because how do I even enjoy food without something spicy? The greens were spectacular, tender greens simmered with smoky based meat. I could eat this every day!Hush puppies, although in general I'm not a fan, these were really good. They have seasonings and onion inside. Nice and crispy, served piping hot!Corn bread was soft, moist and fluffy but still dense to call it Corn bread. Only thing I would say is I with the Corn bread was served warm with a side of butter.Peach Cobbler - FINALLY a place that toasts the top, I hate when I get a Cobbler and the crust isn't crispy. Here it was, it was served hot with a nice perfect layer of toasted crust! Finally someone doing it right!Everything was served piping hot, no complaint there. It was a meal me and my son enjoyed and we are definitely coming back! I want to try other items on the menu. I see that they get a little rush weekdays around 4pm, FYI.Service was excellent, friendly, informative and straight to the point. The cashier was fully aware of the customers and provided a friendly sense of urgency.Ambience bright and GREAT for photos. Warm inside on a cold seattle day! So Temperature is well controlled. It's clean open and bright. Great for enjoying with family/friends. Would really consider using them to cater in the future, I'm impressed with the catfish fillets and honestly everything!“
“I had brunch today at Fats and it did not disappoint. I came in with a larger party than they typically accommodate and they made it work for us. The service and food were both excellent and I sincerely appreciated the friendly hospitality. I will definitely be back because I love supporting this Black-owned business!“
“We loved this blacked owned restaurant. It’s a little hard to find because there is not a sign on the door but get reservations because it’s small. The food is good and vibe is great. We went on a Friday and the wings were great and the pork chop delightful. Go here and support black biz. You won’t go wrong.“
“I got the Chicken and Waffles here. The chicken wings they had with it were pretty nice and juicy! The waffle was decent, if a bit different; it tasted kind of grainy, and kind of thin (almost like a pancake). The macaroni and cheese, I actually liked. The cheese they gave with it was a pretty good texture; decently thick! Overall, I would be happy to visit again.“
“Server was welcoming, booths were comfortable, and food was delicious! We ordered a couple entrees and a couple sides to share, which was the perfect amount of food, but I can't wait to go back and try the things I didn't get this time around, especially the other sides! Coconut corn muffins were the bomb! Got them instead of a dessert and left happy and full!“
“Went there twice, the first time was outstanding and the second was OK someone didn't show up and the hostess did a great job. They were short staff and by closing early l[st lots of business. The food was really good and I will be going back to support a good business.“
“I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Where Ya At Matt and Krewe are Awesome! The Poboys are the real thing. I am from Louisiana and every bite takes me right back home. These guys also bring the atmosphere of down home hospitality to the PNW. Everyone should give them a try, you won't regret it.“
“We choose here cause some of the reviews first I want to say the catfish Is good but I think it was the fish swai. Being from Louisiana that wasn't catfish. It was still good though. My girlfriend had ox tails our first time it was great. I had the pork chops I need more. I had the wings and beans also fantastic and the macaroni was good. I wanted the collard greens to go but my girlfriend was like no. So if you down here definitely visit there for some southern food.“
“We ordered catering for a school breakfast and had a great experience overall with Comfort Zone. Quick and easy communication when ordering, food was ready to pick up a bit earlier than our scheduled time, and food was packed for easy transportation. Everyone said the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We ordered waffles, catfish and grits, mac & cheese and a fruit platter. We used Comfort Zone last year for a similar school event and would definitely use them in the future.“
“I had the vegetarian Steak Plate. That was tasty, good portions too. It comes with rice and 2 sides of your choice; I had the collard greens and red beans and rice as my sides. I love the fact that I can now get a full course meal with a vegetarian meat protein. Next, I'm trying the vegetarian Pork Plate.Vegetarian options: The new vegetarian options are good and highly recommended.“
“Great fried chicken and the staff there couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We walked in for just a couple of pieces and they told us if we wanted to wait a few minutes they were pulling out a fresh batch. Juicy and crunchy with a perfect spice mix. Yummmmm!“
“Best Southern cooked food in Washington if you ask me. God bless this food and the hands that made it. Amen, And hallelujah.?❤️?♥️?Parking: Plenty of parking and well worth the drive and wait. Recommend calling in the order first. Less of a wait.?Kid-friendliness: Kid and family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair access.“
