You people knocked it out of the park with my very large take out order. Zero issues, including with the special dietary needs, each and every bag was labeled with the name assigned to the order. Crew absolutely loved the food as well. Thank you!
Great atmosphere with urban setting
There are a few eateries that delivers the “soul” in soul food🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 Gastronomic Alchemy is start to define the food here. Based on reviews, Island Soul offers a very friendly atmosphere and a dope vibe. The bar and restaurant have nice aesthetics, with good music and TVs playing sports. The food aroma is really good. Everything is done to perfection, from the dips with the plantains to the catfish, black beans, and rice. The cajun shrimp is delicious, and the hushpuppies and corn muffin are served with a sweeter butter. The Mac and cheese is creamy and rich, and the collared greens are cooked just right and nice and soft. The regular poutine is slightly different but good, and the fried catfish is amazing. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and they handled a very large takeout order with zero issues, including special dietary needs, with each bag labeled. The crew loved the food. The vibe, the food, and the people put the soul in Island Soul.
