“I completely love their fish tacos!!!! But I stopped by yesterday after many months of never eating out to find no one had PPE masks on! Not the prep, not one customer. yes, the customers are outside, but the walk right up to the window & are face to face with prep. People walking very near me, staring- I was being stared at with my mask. I felt like I was in some sort of antimaskers demographic judging me, very uncomfortable. I just have to speak up. My family has been sooo careful trying to ride through this thing; I just think it's sad that one tiny thing could ruin our lives. Something as simple as craving Manny's tacos!!! It's easy, mask up folks.“

Service is unmatched, every time I get a burrito they always ask how I’m doing, what I’m up to and truly care for their customers. This family works 5-10am delivering food in the dalles then drive to hood river and then open from 11-6, 6 days a week! This family owned and operated restaurant along with being one of most affordable restaurants in the gorge. Any time anyone asks me where they should eat, without hesitation I always recommend here. “Tacos Poncitlan is a food truck next to Marcos Sports and an auto body shop in a big parking lot just off Tucker Rd. Watch for the Taco flags ! I had a chicken burrito and it was good. Very normal size, flavor, fillings. Nothing fancy or different. Fast service and friendly. Red and green salsas were standard. Neither was very hot.“

Seems like a family run establishment. Teenager taking orders and mom and dad and grandma making food in the kitchen. The occasional younger kid running in.

The food is good. Their sopes and burritos are delicious and filling. Prices are reasonable. Service is prompt and friendly. I can see myself being a regular customer“

“We showed up on Father’s Day, a big outing Sunday for families, after we struggled to get into two other restaurants with our hungry 2 year old and when we told our waitress that our kid really needed to eat 10 minutes ago they instantly got a plate of rice and beans out to our table with waters and chips so our little one would melt down. That’s the sign of an amazing restaurant and people who understand their customers! “Today, we drove down taco alley of Hood River to try 4 different taco trucks. We were blown away by the tacos here. The fish taco, birria taco, and quesabirria were really phenomenal. Highly recommend!

“Great little spot that most would drive right by. The one staff person was amazing. We had a big party of 8 and she handled everything from seating us, to drinks to cooking the food, and serving some of the best food we have had on our trip. An overall A+ experience with something for everyone from burgers and fries to fajitas and other authentic Hispanic dishes.“

We were not disappointed as the food is very good and reasonably price. The drinks were inexpensive and tasty and the staff was friendly and attentive.“
