50 Best Dog Friendly Restaurants Vancouver

“Visiting friends in Portland, they took us here for Breakfast. Loved the ambiance. After a 30-minute wait (we didn't have a reservation), we were finally seated and waited... and waited... and waited, eventually receiving our order after another 45 minutes. Two of three orders were wrong - I had ordered "The standard" - described as "the standard two eggs* with a choice of bacon or Zenner's sausage served with home fries or field greens and choice of toast". Got it with roasted potatoes. The waiter insisted that's how they would always come - but then served extra fries - and, to make up for the wait, comped us with some of the jummy sweet balls they show in their icon image. I found this nice, but also the only appropriate thing to do to save them from a two-star review. Because the server, whom I found uncharmingly stressed at first, really woke up and sped up his game, I would take the experience and try it again when we visit our friends next time. The place itself is very nice, and the food was tasty - and would under other circumstances qualify for four stars or more (if you have read my other reviews, you may remember that I am rather particular with five stars).“

“My brother and I went to the Cove last night and they got it right. Everything was excellent! I had the ahi tuna and my brother the scallops. Not a nite left. Even shared a dessert of butter cake ! Our server was awesome“

“Really excellent matcha latte. Hand whisked to order and they use Mizuba. The barista was very kind and excited with how verdant this matcha order was. This was the best matcha latte I’ve had in a long while - very balanced, whisked so well, actually had a great matcha flavor instead of tasting mostly like milk. Would recommend and come back again. Also had the earl grey cookie and it was really delicious.“

“Hands down some of the best and most attentive service.i have had from a restaurant, the food was amazing and the falafel is to die for. Their garlic sauce does not disappoint either. I highly recommend giving these guys a shot next time you crave gyros or middle eastern food. Think I may be a regular now haha.“

“Having been raised on the East Coast, I have been searching in vain for the pizza I grew up with. Yesterday, I visited the Thirsty Sasquatch for the first time. My search has ended! The Thirsty Sasquatch is the best "New York Style" pizza I've had since leaving Miami in 1973!“

“I stopped by Lil La Oie for brunch and was completely blown away. The vibe is charming, cozy, and cute patio — the kind of spot you instantly want to spend every sunny Sunday afternoon at. I ordered the French toast with strawberries and clotted cream, and wow. It was more like a dreamy bread pudding than traditional French toast — perfectly soft and custardy in the center with a golden, slightly crisp exterior. Topped with fresh, juicy strawberries and the most decadent clotted cream, it struck that perfect balance between rich and not overly sweet. And then… the alligator sausage on the side. Yes, you read that right. Alligator! It was flavorful, just the right amount of spice, and cooked beautifully. A fun and unexpected treat that totally worked. The service was warm and attentive, the food came out quickly, and the portions were generous without being over the top. You can tell there’s real thought and love behind every dish. Lil La Oie is doing something special — definitely adding this to my regular brunch rotation!“

We got lattes, croissants, and I ordered the Pork Belly grits today with an egg. It was so yummy!! Bleu Door is a Vancouver staple located in Uptown Village. It’s a must visit when in town! It was a great choice for our Saturday brunch.“

“We love Crave and have gone there several times. The mac and cheese is beyond great. We love the pasta they use, and the sauce is amazing. I always have extra to take home too. Not your grandma's grilled cheese is another favorite. I personally don't understand the bad reviews. It has been so great every time we go we have been completely satisfied and have told management several times. Compared to a lot of places and fast food at the same prices, it is a no-brainer. Some family and I dined at Kabob City Grill in Vancouver, Washington. Our server Kara truly delivered 5-star customer service! From the moment we arrived to the time we left, she was kind, smiling, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. She was very knowledgeable about the food and flavors, answered questions confidently, and made great recommendations. Though the restaurant was busy we did not have to wait overly long to receive our food. When she brought out our food it was hot fresh and delicious. The pork chops were huge hot juicy and cooked to perfection are the best everyone at the table ever had in life. The gyro was seasoned well and delicious and the salad was simple but so good and refreshing. Kara, consistently checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed, ensure the food was to our liking, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our entire visit. Not only was the food excellent, but Kara’s service was outstanding—and that’s why we will definitely be back. Thanks and applause to Kara for going above and beyond, for your warm greeting, your smile, your laugh, and for making our visit great.. Keep up the amazing work! Kudos to the chef.“
