I’ve heard lots of good things about Salt and Straw and decided to give it a try after dinner on the waterfront. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and offered samples of each flavor. The strawberry honey balsamic and peach with blue cheese were delicious much to my surprise. I ended up ordering the honey lavender and it was amazing. Unique, gourmet flavors. My wife LOVES the olive oil flavor. I just like ice cream. I am pretty indifferent about the quality, but it seems to be a consensus that it is very good. There is always a line. It is in an area along the downtown waterfront that has recently been redone and is quite nice. On a nice evening, it is a beautiful stroll.
