It had been a while since we've been there. There is new staffing, and it feels like a friendlier place to go.
It's a Sharis. Overall serving size is smaller and prices are higher than 10 years ago, but that's the case at every diner except for Carols. The door closer on the Men's bathroom needs adjustment.
We stopped at Shari’s Cafe and Pies, today. I love it there, because breakfast is served all day, and I don’t usually go out for breakfast, but I love that menu! We had an accommodating waitress, and the French toast meal was delicious! The little guy had so much fun with his activity sheet, and crayons!
Kid-friendliness: The little guy sure enjoyed his crayons, and activities!

The restaurant itself could use a remodel as it feels dirty. The Blueberry Lace Pancakes are a hit, but the Deep Dish Washington Apple pie was disappointing with missing crust. Despite pointing out the issue politely, the server was unhelpful. Overall, Shari's Cafe and Pies has delicious options like Lemon Cream pie and Pickle fries, but inconsistencies in food quality and service may affect the dining experience. Recently, customers have noted that serving sizes are smaller and prices higher than in the past, a common trend at many diners. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with crayons and activity sheets for children, and offers all-day breakfast, which is loved by many. Parking is plentiful, and there is wheelchair ramp access, making it accessible for all. The restaurant could benefit from some updates, especially since the door closer on the men's bathroom needs adjustment. Despite some issues, many enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere.
