After enjoying the best wines in the valley served with the firecracker hospitality of Traci, who seems to have a superpower to engage with everyone while telling so many great details of the wine and the area, other places will fall flat in comparison.
Mercer is absolutely nailing it with their wines and their staff is even better. My only sadness is that 5 stars is the max.“
“We discovered Walla Walla Vintners a few weeks ago and spent a beautiful, breezy afternoon under a big tree enjoying great wines and lovely charcuterie board. We got to know Tasting Manager Kelly McDaniel, loved learning the history of this family-owned vineyard and of each of the types of grapes in the surrounding fields. Best of all because we're dog lovers, we were visited by Lucy, the winemaker's pup, who's very sweet. We've joined the club - loved their Sauv Blanc and every one of their reds - especially the Vottavo and Estate Syrah. Can't wait for our first shipment! Lisa and Lori, Portland OR“

“We have been here a few times and always get the best service. The staff is fun, educated and makes the wine tasting experience memorable. They outdid themselves last night. Our friend wanted to propose to his girlfriend, so we asked if they could help us make it happen. The Saviah team went over and above, started the fire pit outside, turned on the outdoor lights, and let us select the perfect music for an incredible proposal. They made our friend and his fiancée’s night one they’ll never forget. Thank you!“
“Great wine & what an awesome customer experience! Brent lead my wine tasting & he did such a nice job describing each wine I tasted & he was so kind & personable. I loved the 2023 Pink Pape Rosé & the Syrah. I was able to order a bottle & enjoy it while listening to live music & they had an array of food trucks to choose from. My husband & I truly enjoyed Tranche. Should we ever be in Walla Walla again, we will be sure to visit. “We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting experience! Three of us had the red wines and one had the white wines; we were all pleased with our choices. Eric enthusiastically explained each of the wines and threw in some interesting stories to make the whole experience fun. The charcuterie was delicious and creatively presented, the wines were amazing, and the scenery was beautiful. Because we were able to sit outside, we could enjoy the views in every direction. We will definitely return!“

“We visited the Seven Hills taproom in downtown Walla Walla and had an awesome time! There was a huge party in the backroom, and yet we still got stellar attention and service during our flight and blind tasting. The wines themselves ranged from good to fantastic - we ended up buying 2 bottles of their more mineral forward reds. The space inside was airy, historic feeling, and filled with surprisingly comfortable seating. For sure recommend others swing by for a visit.“
“Had a nice tasting experience at Northstar. We'd not been out before but it is a beautiful setting and very nice tasting room. Looks like outside would be delightful in Spring and Summer. Our host, Nathan, was attentive and fun to chat with. He went out of his way to discuss wine and address our questions - a real asset for this winery. Not too much and not too litte. These wines are well made and represent their WA varitals well. Structured with some aging potential - and necessity in a few cases. It would definitely be a good tasting stop on any visitors Walla Walla short list.“
“LOVED our visit to Dillon. We were a group of 15 and it was hands down our favorite experience we had. We learned so much and the wine was amazing - we joined the club and we're so excited to try other bottles as they are released. Drive out there is gorgeous too - we loved the setting. “Garrison Creek Winery sets the gold standard in Walla Walla with estate varietals produced on-site by a small team led by Laura, who gave us a very delightful tour this weekend. Grapes from their Les Collines block are some of the best in the AVA. We especially loved the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. We will be back!“
“OMG, please go to Ita, Kelsey does it all! This is some of the best wine I've ever had. The semillon, Chardonnay and Pinot noir were phenomenal! And I lived in Oregon for a decade and don't like Pinot noir, this is the best Pinot noir I've ever had. Please just go drink this delicious wine, and buy a bottle ( or two 😎).“

“What a perfect end to a fantastic trip! We came out for a getaway from Seattle and spent two days going from winery to winery trying excellent bottles from around the region. We were pleasantly surprised plenty of times during our stay but Pursued By Bear really stole the show. Every single wine was exceptional and distinct. The atmosphere of the lounge area was reflective and inviting. Our gracious host was knowledgeable and welcoming. And, again, the wines were, even in the context of the other stops on our journey, were incredible. We were positively spoiled by Kyle's presence at our tasting, he was so generous with his time and sat with us and explained the thought process between the grapes he selected and the naming of each of their wines. It was fascinating learning the lore of Pursued by Bear and the passion he pours into ever bottle. We enjoyed every second here and look forward to visiting again in the future, the next time we're in town.“

It was a hot day and their lovely shaded patio was perfect for some great wine, a snack, and a cold non-alcoholic drink for her. “One of my favorite stops this weekend and a must stop vineyard if going to Walla Walla in my opinion. It was a nice quiet late morning and we are kindly taken care of by Sarah. She was exceptional and should be regarded as a valuable asset to this location. Personality truly sells the wine IMO. The wine was solid, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but great wine can also be ruined by bad personality, and Sarah shared that impression was not given. I look forward to coming back and also even more excited to learn. They have a tasting room in Edmonds on my side of the state. It’s always nice when you have that option when you don’t live on the eastern side of the state! I believe the price is are fair. The portions are fair. The taste satisfies. Thank you for the lovely tasting.“

“We stopped by in November and bought a few bottles after tasting each offering and they were all delicious.Tucked them away to share-but they weren't forgotten.Perfect weather for a grilling party in Feb-out they came and shared with friends. Every guest picked up the bottles, read the label and declared how GREAT the wine was. 2009 Columbia Valley blend of Syrah, Cab, Merlot and Malbec. Excellent wine!“

“DAMA has fantastic staff, a beautiful tasting room, great wines, and the best people-watching patio in Walla Walla. There is no better place to kill a bottle downtown on a Saturday afternoon! I have attended several events here and hosted a couple myself and I cannot recommend DAMA and their staff highly enough!“

“Although Browne has delicious wine, today I tried one of their craft cocktails instead. Megan was my host, a very friendly, high energy, attentive, hustling young lady. If you’re in the area and you’re looking for a fantastic wine tasting & some paired snacks and charcuterie this is your place!
We were driving back home for the holidays and decided to stop in. We were greeted with the most beautiful Christmas decor and friendly faces.
Major & Aly at the walk up bar were amazing!!! We joked about bringing them along the rest of our 20 hour drive, just because of how well they treated us. They knew so much about the wine and us being “wanna-be wine connoisseurs” loved it. They made us really enjoy our experience and we will be back because of them and the top tier wine quality.
Parking: Easy, free street parking. Plenty.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to front doors.“
“Delicious food, beautiful grounds, friendly service. Liked 2/4 of the wines I tasted, but everyone’s pallet is different and the pours were generous. Only minus was that the tasting is poured all at once - on an 85* summer day, all of our wines (from the white flight) were room temperature within 15 minutes. Bring em one at a time please!“
