He was so gracious and we learned so much from him about the wine making process the grapes and the history of this small family owned business. We sat in the vineyard literally and even got to taste some of the grapes right off of the vine! And the wines are all delicious!! We will most certainly be back.“

“It had been several years since our last visit to the Bookwalter tasting room, and when we decided to return, our expectations were fairly low—we assumed it might be another run-of-the-mill experience.

From the moment we walked in, however, that impression changed completely. We were warmly welcomed by Scott, who guided us to a table, offered water, and thoughtfully walked us through the tasting options. After sharing our preferences, he curated a personalized tasting experience that perfectly aligned with what we enjoy, while also introducing us to varietals we hadn’t explored before.

By the end of the visit, we were so impressed that we enthusiastically signed up for the wine club. We now find ourselves returning often—not only for the wine, but to spend time with Scott, learn about new releases, and revisit old favorites.“

There were multiple large groups, the kitchen was clearly running behind but the service was excellent, the food was great, and we had no complaints whatsoever.
