“Indoor, and outdoor seating covered or not. Kid friendly. Great selection of brews. Food is really, really good. I am having a flatiron steak burrito bowl!! It is exactly what I wanted. They have RC Cola on tap!! Come on!!??! That takes me back to the 70’s!!

“We were so fortunate to find this unique Cafe with one of the most eclectic and carefully curated menus. The tacos, enchiladas and quesedillas were just the right portions and we could taste the freshness of their ingredients. The crush puppies were a star as were the cider flights. What stuck with us though was how friendly, personable and genuinely kind the staff was. They made it an incredible experience. It was the most grounded and relaxing eating experience we could have imagined. Keep shining and we will certainly be back when we can!“

“I have not had a beer here (yet) but the little bar downstairs is the best in town as far as I am concerned. It is such an intimate environment and the bartender is so welcoming and knowledgeable. The zero proof cocktails are as well thought out and delicious as the regular menu. If you're in HR and the place is open, do yourself a favor.“

“We came here one night recently after a wedding as it was within walking distance of the Holiday Inn we were staying at. The person that helped serve us. Drinks was super nice. She was cheerful and gave us great service. I don’t want to say anything negative about the place, but the ambience could use a little work, but the prices were very good and we all enjoyed the drinks we got.“

“One of those delightful finds! Old School, cold beer, Kelly was an incredible bartender - lots of locals, good music on the juke. I had to work - high speed internet - quiet table - Kelly even turned on the lights for me lol. I look forward to coming back and shooting some pool!“

“We were on our way home to LaGrande. Not sure if it was worth a ten mile trip off of 84 for a dinner stop. It is fabulous and now I wish I lived so much closer. Will definitely make the trip again!“

“Best food in Hood River! And right up there with the top restaurants in Portland, as well. Tasty seafood options, steaks, pasta. Good variety, focusing on quality over quantity. Beautiful presentation. Desserts are top notch and in appropriate proportions. Having been here many times over the years, we drove an hour from Portland just for dinner on a beautiful day. The views from the deck are wonderful!“
“Best tater tots I've ever had. The grilled chicken special was delicious, and it's hard to make grilled chicken taste good. The summer cocktails we tried were excellent too. Friendly staff and nice vibes all around! They had the World Cup on, which is also fun these days.“

“What a great little dive bar/cafe in the middle of downtown Hood River. This is an old establishment so it looks a little rough. We had their specialty fish and chips which was very tasty, or was I really hungry after of day of hiking and sightseeing around Mt Hood? Washed it down with a Rainier beer (Walt Longmire's favorite)! Bartender/waitress was very attentive to our needs. All in all, it was a good experience.“
