We went to get the advertised special. It seemed like they were short of staff as it took some time for everything even to be asked if we were ready to order. The table we were at wasn't very clean seemed sticky. The was ok but great. The boneless wings were heavy breaded and just white meat chunks.
Nice atmosphere. Food very average and unpretentious so, passable. Serving staff could really benefit from a little training, such as orientation toward the diner, clearing the dishes, extra napkins--things expected of a server.

Almost every time we order from Applebee's, they get out order wrong. Tonight we ordered 2 entrees. On one they forgot fries and sauce. Went back to get fries and sauce. The entire entree tasted like it was under the heat lamps for a long time. They weren't even busy tonight. Disappointed. Food service has really suffered.
