I’d rate the food at 4 stars, especially the fluffy pancakes I ordered—light, soft, and topped with real blueberries, not the overly sweet pie filling you get at some places. The bacon was crispy and flavorful, not exactly the level of crisp I requested, but still very enjoyable and well‑prepared.The customer service is a full 5 stars. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about creating a positive experience for every guest.
The atmosphere also earns 5 stars. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and has that classic family‑friendly feel that makes you want to settle in and enjoy a slow, relaxing meal. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable the moment you walk in.Overall, Mohnen’s Family Restaurant is a great choice for homestyle comfort food, exceptional service, and a warm, inviting environment. “We visited for our first time yesterday. Food was fantastic however the dining room was disgusting. Everything was greasy and there was stuff all over the floor. I think we will be sticking to the drive-thru so we can at least eat great food in a clean place.“

“I’ve been going here since the old location. I usually get Heather and Papito around the times I go. Food is always quick, conversations great and always jokes to be had. My favorite burger (the only one I get and made into a turkey version) the raging Cajun is no longer on the menu, but they know that’s my same order with a side of Cajun/BBQ fries. The other servers I’ve had over the last couple summers as well have all been great as well. Cheers!“

“We had great chocolate shakes at Culver’s in Suamico, so decided to go again. Apparently, not all the employees are knowledgeable in how to make them. They should be made with vanilla custard, not chocolate. Ruined my evening since I do NOT like chocolate custard😔“

“The Richmond St. Taco John's is a landmark. So glad it's still there. But I have one criticism:
We go to Taco John's for nostalgia - tacos and 80s music! Where's the 80s? It can even be a mix of 80's and 90s, that's fine. Toss in a few modern tunes, that's cool, too.
But we want pop and rock music (emphasis on 80s) in our Taco John's! : )“

“Sorry I keep forgetting to take a picture of the sandwich but this place has absolutely taking over the first place in my heart for a delicious sandwiches. I order the #16 Pick 2 option which includes half a sandwich and soup. So far I've tried the Mac & Cheese, the Chili and also the Broccoli and cheese. All 3 were good.“

“I work nearby and stop once a week to get a chicken crispy wrap after work. Drive thru always goes quickly, people working are always nice, and the food always tastes good. Once my wrap was smothered in sauce and put together poorly, but 9 times out of 10 I have zero complaints.“

The last time was for one combo meal, and they told me to park on the other side of the bldg, and they'd bring it out. (Mind you no one was ahead of me, and there were only 2 cars behind me.) He told me what they do by just adding a scoop of vitamin C powder so I paid the extra $1 for it and he added it. I am a vitamin freak. What a great idea!!!“
