“First time at Kountry Bar (I know I know - shameful!!!!) but the beer was ice cold, the atmosphere was amazing, the bartenders were friendly and personable but the burger - OMG the burger was f-ing fantastic. I had the ghost pepper blue burger and it was seriously the best burger I’ve had in…… well, I don’t know when. My husband had the tenderloin sandwich and also loved it. We will most definitely be back. Seriously - you need to visit this bar and grill. You will not regret your decision to stop by and treat yourself!!! 💪🏼“

“Just visited for the first time during Mile of Music and that was THE BEST burger I’ve had in a really long time. Despite it being very busy, the service was great and my food came much quicker than expected. The burger patty was so juicy and delicious and I loved the reaper ranch and cheese curds too. You’re doing it right!! I’ll definitely be back soon. 😋“

“Every time I go to the I stopped there.. excellent drinks excellent bartenders… I will always stop there.. last time I was around the place they had salsa dancing lessons.. I should’ve tried, but I’m afraid.. definitely would recommend this place to anybody that loves margaritas or handcrafted cocktails!! Five stars!!“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Appleton area. However, I was disappointed with the front-desk folks’ lack of creative thinking and can-do attitude. When I called before arriving, I mentioned the number of people in my party and mentioned that I will also need a high chair. He said nothing available inside but patio is open and lots of seats are readily available. When we arrived, he was right, nobody was sitting in the patio. Bad news came after we were taken to our table, “sorry, we don’t have high chair available for at least another hour!” I understand that this may happen, but why do you tell me 5 mins before I arrive that you have everything available? Very disappointing, but this is even more disappointing when it comes from one of my favorite restaurants and I had guests with me.“

Was there during the day. Language was the issue. Mrs pacman just ate a token. Terminator right gun had no on screen aiming sights. 4 player battle Pac-Man has joystick broken. Off road racing game went dark.“

“Honestly... It's the first bar I have gone into alone in years! There's a community spirit there with welcoming arms to newcomers like myself! People of all ages and all walks of life patronize this place! There kindness is Keen, the bartenders are superb, including the owner. The menu is small, but the taste is great...I can personally vouch for chicken wings, chicken tenders, combo basket, fries and steak sandwich! Pizza I had was delicious!(Lotsa Motsa, I think)The place is nice and clean, it has a pool table, bowling game, entertainment gaming, jukebox and darts.There really isn't anything bad with this place, except, and I say this with respect...one mid life male bartender either does not like to cook, can not Cook or the owner doesn't allow him to cook ...Whatever the reason Please cut him some slack because the place is still there for our enjoyment!! I hear he will bake a pizza and I know he will advise you he does not cook! LOL I love the people who go there...people meet to play games, like Sheephead and Cribbage! Oh yeah...prices very reasonable!“

“Great eclectic bar. It has that old school feel with tin ceilings and all but has a modern crowd. Its a long bar that even has live music. Great in house PA system. Perfect size and it sounds great. The owner runs sound and knows how very well. Bartenders are very nice and quick. Killer location with a bumpy parking lot. But it fits all the cars to fill the bar. Drinks are stronger that normal but not over done. Great place. Great location. A must go“

“A legendary staple of downtown Appleton. You'll have a hopping good time if your looking to eat or drink. Their grill kicks ass, the wings are some of the best in the valley. Drink specials and one of the most rocking stages at mile. If you get a big beer in one of their Mondo mega mugs your guaranteed to have a FROGGING GOOD TIME. “A friend and I went to get a drink and play some pool and the bartender kicked us out. Yelling at us saying we didn't tip her last time and was talking about her. I have never seen this bartender before. Disrespectful yelling at us infront of customer. I do hope she learns some manners. But will not waste my time again to go their.“

“Good as a cheap dive bar, convenient location for after practice ends. Can get too loud to talk and not a great selection of drinks, but prices are quite reasonable and service is more than competent.

Parking: Small lot, but it's a small place.

Wheelchair accessibility: Main entrance is not wheelchair accessible, there is a side door that is. Restrooms may be up a step, I don't recall if inside it's a steep ramp or 1-2 steps.“

“There was five of us in town for work. We decided to go to the durty leprechaun because we wanted Irish car bombs. We walk in around 7pm and found three people inside at the bar. There was only one guy working and it turned out that it was Jon the owner. Jon was playing Darude Sandstorm, Eifel 65 I’m Blue, and the Eagles Free Bird on the bars sound system that was louder than a Boeing 747 taking off. We asked for the Irish car bombs, Jon immediately got pissed and tried talking us out of the Irish car bombs saying that they weren’t real Irish drinks and that he didn’t feel like making them. We all got instantly enraged and almost walked out. Looking back it was a miracle from the heavens that we ended up staying. Jon and us decided that Amstel lights and a copious amount of Jameson was a good compromise. So we started slinging back the Amstels and Jameson with Jon as he began pouring them one after another jumping up and down and screaming tiny bubbles at the top of his lungs the entire time. At this point we notice that two of the three people that were at the bar were now gone, as we looked around we noticed the door to the women’s bathroom was open and there were two butt naked women inside just standing there. As the door closed we asked Jon what that was about and his response was again screaming tiny bubbles at the top of his lungs as he vigorously high fived each of us. At this point we knew we made the correct call by staying and that we had a long night ahead of us. Jon then slid his keys to us and told us to walk out back and check out his new Tommy Bahama Mercedes sprinter van. We were extremely reluctant for obvious reasons. Eventually we decided that the possibility of death was worth it and we walked out the back door with him. To our surprise we didn’t immediately fall into a well in the basement and that there was in fact a 400,000 dollar sprinter van out back which we then got an MTV cribs style tour of by Jon. He made sure to point out that it had Italian buck suede leather throughout and that we should now start referring to him as Tommy Walnuts for the rest of the evening. We agreed to the name change and stumbled back into the leprechaun. At this point we estimated that we had consumed 200 bucks of alcohol at a minimum and never once saw Tommy put anything in the computer. We asked him if he was adding our drinks to the POS system to which he replied by pointing to his head and stating that the POS system was in there. We then asked him if he needed help behind the bar which he said absolutely. So one of our guys got behind the bar and began slinging drinks to the rest of us since it’s now 1am and it’s just the five of us and Tommy in the entire place. After depleting 50 plus Amstels Tommy told his new employee (our buddy) that as the new bar back he needed to go to the basement and grab more Amstels. Based on the last potentially sketchy van tour situation we threw caution to the wind and three of us headed downstairs to the basement with Tommy. Tommy proceeded to give us another 30 minute tour but this time it was just him showing us all of the nick nacks and such underneath the leprechaun. It’s easily 4am at this point and all of us and Tommy are on the edge of a brown out. We estimated a minimum of 600 bucks of alcohol. As we start attempting to head out we try and settle up with Tommy who obviously has not been adding a damn thing to the POS system in his head. None of us wanted to leave without paying ole Tommy. He kept refusing payment saying that he had an absolute blast and that it was all on him and we could not accept that. So we start trying to throw hundos at him which he just throws back. We eventually sneak a couple hundred bucks or so in the tip jar. We all hugged it out jumping up and down screaming tiny bubbles and headed out. It was a life changing night that we’ll never forget. Every town needs a Durty Leprechaun and a Tommy Walnuts. Here is a few pics showing just how welcoming the leprechaun is.“

“Food was REALLY good. We were pleasantly surprised. First time there and everything ordered was excellent. Burgers are amazing. Fries were excellent too. Appetizers were really good. So we're the chicken nachos but that was huge, definitely could have ordered one and it could have fed 2-3 people easily. Drinks were good.“

“I’ve been going here since the old location. I usually get Heather and Papito around the times I go. Food is always quick, conversations great and always jokes to be had. My favorite burger (the only one I get and made into a turkey version) the raging Cajun is no longer on the menu, but they know that’s my same order with a side of Cajun/BBQ fries. The other servers I’ve had over the last couple summers as well have all been great as well. Cheers!“
