No longer a cafe as it is primarily operating as a roastery but I’m so glad we stopped in! Got the chance to meet Dan who was such a delight. I am new to the Fox Valley area, so I've been searching for a local roaster to get fresh beans from. I tried the "buy local" shelf at Festival Foods where I found Uncommon Grounds. My pour over Costa Rica Tarrazu is a bright cup with lasting fruity flavor, and the Longtail espresso is very sweet that pairs well with milk in a latte.What I find most interesting though is the value. We come here for the gluten free goodies. The Mudd Creek baked goods has earned our business for occasional breakfast treats. My wife is not a fan of their coffee and I only like macadamia nut vanilla Hawaiian coffee so I can't comment their. Someday I want to stop in and try their breakfast options, sandwich or the waffle.
