“My first time buying baked goods with them was about two years ago from the Rhinelander location. Bought a variety and they were very good. A couple of other times baked goods was served from there and was very good. This past weekend I was at a party that served a cake from the Crandon location. Personally I am not a fan of fondant but the “under” frosting was good and the cake itself was very good. I don’t live in the area but based on my experiences I would recommend the business to others and when in the area I will hopefully get a chance to stop in.”

“I was traveling through the area, and my vehicle broke down, this bar was more helpful by letting my vehicle sit in the lot until I could find help to have it moved and fixed. Another customer gave me $20 bucks and a list of local auto repair shops and hotels. I am so grateful that good people like the owners of this bar still exist. I was able to stop in and have a soda while I was waiting for my ride home as well. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!”

“My wife has been on a supper club kick lately and a lot of them have been very underwhelming. As a result, my expectations were relatively low for Waters Edge, but it far exceeded them.

It has a beautiful lake view, and comfortable bar area where we waited for our table. The wait wasn’t very long, especially for a Labor Day weekend Friday night. My waitress took my drink order and delivered it exactly as requested. Our meal came out relatively quickly and everything was delicious- curds, onion rings, pizza, mushroom & Swiss burger were all top notch and the price for dinner was an absolute bargain! I’ll be back for sure!”

“Went their today and the service is great but he was the only person working. I dont know his name but the poor guy was working alone trying to keep up with the customers coming through the door and the online orders coming through. Ive gone to subway in Crandon on many occasions and its always the same guy working alone. He said hes been doing 12 hour shifts everyday cause theirs no workers or they call in. Sad thing about this is the person and boss who owns this franchise wont even come into help him. He said he told them but they could care less. I would think as a business owner you would want to always take care of your good employees and not only that but as the owner you should be their to help your employees when you only have a staff of one person by the sounds of it. This subway has gone down hill since the previous owner sold it and they took care of their employees well. This new person who owns it now I guess doesn't care about the employees or their well being. They ARE NOT your slaves, they are good employees who you will probably lose because you dont know how to treat a good worker. What a shame! Maybe the state deserves a phone call on this business.”
