Great view overlooking Lake Mentonga ! And the service was fantastic
The wife and I went here for a early Friday fish fry. Had a great experience with the bartender and the waitstaff. We were able to joke around and have some fun. The salad bar was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed one of the best frys in the area. We will return.
I don't want to be a jerk and give a bad review because I'm sure it's not all their fault but there are areas online saying that this is a dog friendly establishment as long as you keep the dog outside. So imagine my frustration when I got here and was told dogs are not allowed anywhere

Charlie's Lake Metonga Resort Restaurant is a popular spot with great food, especially their fish fry using Mies breading. The restaurant offers a wonderful view of the lake, especially from the bar. The bartender and wait staff are friendly and attentive. However, service can be slow on weekends, and there is a 3% surcharge on credit and debit cards. Parking is not a problem. The restaurant also features an outdoor screened-in area available for rental and has 8 beers on tap that change with the seasons.
