“This is a good place to eat with a beautiful view of Castle Rock Lake. Sunset views can’t be beat! Food was good, not great but the prices reflect this. Staff is very friendly- they were very busy and our poor waitress did the best she could, but you knew they were u detracted. We will eat here again as it’s not a bad place for an affordable meal in the area. We live in Wisconsin Fells, so the drive is pretty. Decent amount of parking. Bathrooms were clean but the paper towel dispenser was broken so the roll got a little wet which was slightly gross.“

“Cute dinner right on the highway! Stopped for dinner, on a Friday, in passing. Ordered the walleye special and was pleasantly pleased and full! Perfectly cooked and the breading was delicious! They also serve breakfast all day! Would definitely recommend 👌“

“Stopped at the Spot this past Thursday. Still the best bar in Friendship. Wisconsin, cozy, friendly and very good food!. Tom is a good bartender. After all the bars I have gone over the 20 years up in this area, Spot in the woods is the best hands down. New owners have done a great job to carry on the tradition. Meat raffle Sundays are a plus.“

“I drive over 3 hours to come for skillets! There is no skillet that comes close to family affairs! I brag and talk about the skillets on an almost weekly basis! My dad has become a regular after we found this spot as he lives close! We did a surprise birthday breakfast for him today. And like always the staff went above and beyond. I am so grateful you were able to rebuild after the fire and be even more amazing then before! Can't wait to make the trip again!“

“GREAT food and friendly faces! We’ve been going there for 3-years for daily specials and the fantastic chicken on Saturday and Sunday. Last night we had the beer battered cod and it was awesome. We are loyal to this great place, it’s at the top of list!“
