Just past the “grade” (which is a narrow road with water on both sides) off Castle Rock Lake, is a tiny bar featuring smoke house specialties. They have a decent menu with some unique items, like kick’n corn salad. The prices are super reasonable. The ribs were definitely incognito. I thought they may be mediocre, but I was happily wrong. Wait Staff was excellent!Jalepeno sausage was delicious, as were my wife's fries!We both agreed the Mac n Cheese and Potato salad became tolerable after enough BBQ sauce. I realize everyone has different likes, so don't take my word for it. Please give them a try for yourself!

We visited Buckhorn Grill last Saturday around 11pm. The service was great. The bartender made time to tell us about the area and things to do. He even made sure to prioritize getting our toddlers food out first and my ask for plastic silverware for my little one.Our food was wonderful. I had the brisket tacos and I was very surprised with how great they were as brisket isn’t normally my number one choice.Looking forward to coming back.
