We had the whitefish dinner and pecan salad. It was DELICIOUS! Food was fresh and well prepared. We liked the art on the walls.
Disappointing. Only two tables and service was super slow. Server / owner seemed disinterested in us. chatting it up with the other table but abrupt taking our order. . Ordered a burger medium that came out well done. Never came back to check after food delivered. Just not that friendly or interested in customer experience.
Such a beautiful place to dine! Intimate atmosphere with great food😊

Second Street Bistro offers amazing food with unique flavors, a great wine list, and lovely music in the background. The relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, and live music from a harpist create a pleasant dining experience. While portions may be small, the delicious meals like crab cakes, walleye sandwich, layered cake with pistachio ice cream, seasonal tomato and mozzarella appetizer, and fish chowder make up for it. Specialties like fish fry Friday, Cajun chicken sandwich, homemade Sangria, and Founders Porter are highly recommended. Service is friendly and attentive, although it could be improved at times. Overall, Second Street Bistro provides excellent ambiance, exceptional service, and delicious meals for a memorable dining experience.
