Was on my way home, first time at this place. It was pouring out, and I had been on the kayak and was soaking wet when I called in an order for pickup. Bartender, super nice lady. Even offered me a towel to dry off with. The surroundings looked like a super fun bar. TVs in some booths playing the football game. Up to date bar slot entertainment games. It's a fun place! The food is good and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is fun. It was a great place to stop for lunch. Anyone who understands a townie bar will understand this place.

I was new to The Hogg Pen and was greeted by the owner and she spent some time chatting with me. She helped me feel welcomed and comfortable. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was excellent!!! I would highly recommend The Hogg Pen to anyone!!
