“Didn't actually get to go in the tavern, I'm guessing it was closed due to Covid, but the surrounding area is very nice. Besides the bridge and water, there were deer, rabbits, peacocks, geese, and pheasants. There is a suspension bridge here that looks like you'd fall in the water trying to cross it, but it is safe. It's a very picturesque area, and well worth visiting.”

The crust is baked to perfection; it's crunchy and the slice doesn't sag like at many other restaurants), the topings are plenty and delicious. “We had the most beautiful bridal Shower. The owners were so wonderful to work with. Everyone commenting on how beautiful it was. The space is perfect and when you bring in fresh flowers it’s just gorgeous. Reasonable venue and yummy paninis and salad. Gelato for dessert is perfect too. I definitely recommend Iola Mills.”

“Stopped in today and the owners husband was bartending. He told us they had no chef at the moment until later, so the only menu items available were pizza and fryer foods. His daughter (guessing around 10-11 yrs old) was with helping him around the bar and offered to cook us a couple of burgers. She did an excellent job and they were delicious. Be proud of that liilttle girl and her work ethic. Great food everytime I've been there”

“I am a new employee here my coworkers are awesome. We love it when you come in. Even if we are busy we will try our best to make sure you sandwich is made exactly how you want it. The veggies are free so I'd you would like your sub to be more filled just ask for a little more. We are understaffed at the moment but we are hiring and training new people quickly. If somebody seems like they don't know what they are doing it's because some of us are just learning. Lots of us workers are teens or young adults and we are trying our best to serve you.”
