The food is always great when we've been here. Perch fry was terrific with their homemade tartar sauce! My husband had the 1# hamburger with bacon, it was definitely a show stopper and tasted great!
We went there late, like 20 to 30 mins after their kitchen closed and we talked to the owner about finding a place with a lil pizza oven and frozen pizzas cause we were out and about late and without food (rural Wisconsin issues)The owners wife over heard us and told us she would get her kitchen stuff warmed back up and ready for us, and it made my freaking night, that was super nice of herThe owner was quick with the drinks the bar was clean, those garlic pizza fries were amazing.....read full review

I really really really want to give Iola Corner Bar five stars, but I just can't. The atmosphere is perfect, the waitstaff is SUPER friendly when they get around to waiting on you, and the food is really damn good.The problem is that it seems like the staff is very disorganized, and incredibly inefficient.
