Vegetarian Restaurants in Birchwood

“I'm moving all of my reviews from Yelp to Google. This was originally written in 2021. I would be willing to bet I've been back at least 100 times since.

Really solid choice for pizza in the north woods! We decided to carry out on a Sunday after seeing how slammed they were when we drove past on Saturday night.

First pizza was their taco offering. It's a good pizza and well-executed but would have benefited greatly from a to-go container of sour cream and maybe some other condiments (hot sauce and guacamole are my top recommendations) being included with the order.

Second pizza was their Cub: sausage, onion, green pepper. I preferred this pie to the taco which surprised me as I usually love a taco pizza. Their sausage is no slouch! Solid, hand-formed pieces of bulk sausage are visible sticking out of the generous blanket of cheese while slices of onion and green pepper dot the pie. The sauce was a bit more flavorful than a lot of pizza sauce and I appreciated that detail. This pizza brought back strong memories of eating tavern-style pizza in Chicago as a kid. I really, really liked this pizza.
