“Ate here after coming up from southern Illinois to work at both Rockfest and Countryfest. (Shout out to Northwoods Portables!) The food here was great, and the staff and customers were friendly. Shot a fun game of pool with my buddy while I was there. I will definitely come back again next year when I come up to work the fests again”

“Supposedly this place is known for its breakfast. But lunch was also very good. Bourbon burger was excellent. Pork chop meal was huge. Generous portions, engaging waitress (Anna). Lots of left over for dinner or a snack tonight. Would be good to offer a few side options instead of straight chips for all meals. Will definitely revisit when in Stanley. Only a couple min off of highway 29.”

“Walking in I got to talk to the wait staff that was at the counter and ready with a smile an speak to the chef. I was concerned because it was 45 minutes till closing time and was assured by both that it wasn't a problem and to relax and enjoy my time there. Best thing I could have heard just walking in and feeling so welcome.”

“The food we had was served quickly and was quite good, no complaints. Typical truck stop food, really good overall and a lot of it for the money. There also was a DC fast charger in the parking lot (50kw) that worked great while we ate our lunch.”

Their service is always amazing and they are very quick without risking quality which is a major plus! When we go there I get excited because I know I'm going to enjoy myself and when Im there I just love being there the ambiance and feeling is warm calming and just makes me never want to leave.”

“My Grandaughter and I just visited this location. It was her first time ordering by herself; her Mom always did the ordering for her, but tonight she is with me ?. Since she is 11 I felt she should order her own meal. Joseph was so patient and informative with her. She had to order a second sandwich for her basketball tournament tomorrow, so that was extra embarrassment for her, she thought.. He took extra time to make a cold sandwich, with sauces separately packed. Hats off to Joseph for care and attention to detail. Addison had a great customer experience!”
