“I have to give Jake’s 5 star’s. And I rarely give any place 5 stars. The burgers are large and cooked perfectly. We also had onion rings. I don’t know if they were made on site but they were fantastic. My wife had a 1919 root beer from tap. The beer is cold and plentiful. Friendly staff and the food came up fast. I highly recommend this place. Go check them out have a beer, Have a burger and enjoy your time there.”

“Had dinner here for the first time on a recommendation. Food was great, steaks were a perfect med rare, staff was friendly, service was quick with only a 2-3 minute wait, and our waitress Rebecca was spot on. We will definately be return customers.”

“Spacious place...out in the boonies. Old Barn has a lot of potential for future gatherings/events. Also has a decent-sized deck outside, covered, with pretty cool tables and chairs. Relaxing area to sit and have a cocktail or five ? Oh...and the barmaids are usually quite friendly as well.”

“Our go-to restaurant when we visit Chippewa. Wide selection of choices on the menu. If you want something not on the menu they are happy to try and accommodate your needs. Food is served hot and service is fast.Parking: Get there early on Sunday to avoid church crowd.”

“The food is very good and service is attentive but not overbearing. The Coffee Clutchers aka “The Breakfast Club” have obviously known each other for a while and their mostly friendly banter is always entertaining. If I was forced to come up with a complaint I guess it would be that they’re not open for dinner. I bet that kitchen could produce an outstanding dinner menu if they were ever so inclined. In conclusion I highly recommend Sid Harvey’s Family Diner!”

“#1 Tour. A MUST do! We had a wonderful day visiting the Leinenkugel Brewing Company. My husband and I did the Legacy Tour and Pilot Brewery Tour. Both tours were so awesome! It was so neat to see inside brewery on the Legacy Tour! Our tour guide Cindy was so knowledgeable and funny! We enjoyed a flight of beers before going on our next tour of the Pilot Brewery. It was fun seeing the small batches being made and talking with Matt Leinenkugel. We would highly recommend doing both tours to everyone!”

“So many choices, I had to get several of the cheesecakes to share with friends. Doggie cheesecakes as well!! My dogs loved their cheesecakes! Bread is delicious!! That dill pickle bread is to die for!!! So many awesome things at great prices. I will be back again for sure. Can not wait to tell all my friends and family about this place.”

“I ordered a cake for my babies 1st birthday , originally I wanted a smash cake but decided to get a regular 8 inch cake . the paying process was simple & very easy. The day I picked up the cake Staci gifted me a free smash cake bc she had extra cake & frosting left !! I was so nice of her to do that & the cake was the best cake I’ve ever had !!! My family was so impressed & the cake was perfect !! I will definitely be going to Staci for all my kids birthdays !!”

“Went to Max's for an early Saturday dinner while celebrating special events. Seated immediately and the setting/vibe is very nice. Nicely decorated, wood floors, tin ceiling. Friendly capable service from bartender/host/wait staff. We did not feel rushed which was great. I had the jalapeño margarita and it was great. Our water glasses were kept filled and dishes removed promptly from table when we were done with them. The chips and salsa were good and replenished when we requested. The cheese dip was disappointing. Lacked flavor. We did not get the chorizo in it as someone in our group was vegetarian. Maybe chorizo would have helped give it needed flavor? Entrees included buzo tacos with blackened mahi, vegetarian fajitas and swordfish with vegetables. Everything was tasty and filling. I thought the beans with my tacos were just ok. My husband loved the swordfish. After he placed his order for it, the server told him the price in menu was inaccurate due to market price. $4 more than what was on the menu. Best practice would be to have accurate price in the menu OR indicate it is market price (as was the case for the lobster entrees). Just providing constructive criticism. Overall, a fine place to dine. I will come again.”

“Ate here after coming up from southern Illinois to work at both Rockfest and Countryfest. (Shout out to Northwoods Portables!) The food here was great, and the staff and customers were friendly. Shot a fun game of pool with my buddy while I was there. I will definitely come back again next year when I come up to work the fests again”

“Just go. It's some of the best Thai we've had and we've had Thai all across the US. The spicy basil rice - amazing. Note that this is take out but they do have a couple of tables in the dining room. We have been going for years and plan our timing through Chippewa based on when they are open. I am posting the menu as the info on the internet isn't too accurate.”

My husband got the chicken dinner, he mentioned that the chicken pieces were smaller than at home, but that it's probably because this was fresher local chickens that aren't pumped full of growth hormones like we're used to in California- so it's a good thing! “Humbly, this bar has the best varied beer selection in the area. Great bar service. Pool table and gambling machines. Wonderful pizza aromas. A recommended stop when in the area and if one is a beer drinker!”
