“WONDERFUL in every way! Such a gem. We were on our way out of town and needed a good base for the 8 hours home. We went here based on the reviews and menu. Nothing about this place disappointed. Angela was our server. Super friendly, efficient, and hospitable. She took the extra time to talk football and people, with my husband, even though the restaurant was packed. (We let the fact that she's a Cowboys fan slide. Ha!) Great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Biscuits and gravy were so phenomenal, we ordered a second half order after our 6 year old devoured the 1st and his pancakes. Both were exceptional- fluffy and flavorful. I had the house skillet and a side of sausage patties, as is a go-to wherever I go. My husband had a traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage links, and (crispy) hashbrowns. Everything was perfectly prepared. I wish I had ordered the sausage links though! The casing on them was everything! OMG. Links are usually not my style, but they get these locally, and I understand why. I'm still kicking myself! The sourdough toast and homemade strawberry jelly were the perfect end to our BIG breakfast. Lastly, we appreciated the owner coming over and checking on us. Thank you for such an amazing meal. If we pass through again, there's no doubt we will stop. **For a review that I read about it being overpriced, I totally disagree. I'd have to say that the prices are no more than what we experience anywhere else- even in our small town, where we don't get all the extras, like homemade jelly, fresh meat, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a coffee carafe at our table. As you see, we ordered a lot of food. I don't tend to keep a mental tally when food is this good. Our meal was extremely reasonably priced. Thank you for the great experience and Go Chicago Bears!”

“We are regularly at Randy's, about every Friday you'll find us there. We have never had a bad meal,always plenty of food and the prices are very fair. The wait staff are always friendly, our food comes out fast. I would definitely recommend Randy's for a good meal, breakfast, lunch,and dinner all good.”

“I have been going to Altoona family for years over a decade at least and when my son was in an accident in 2022 the owners made sure we were taken care of when we ate there, special pancakes with sprinkles and whip cream. Now today I went there with my son and I ordered my usual and the owner paid for my meal.. This restaurant surely is amazing and all over the best family restaurant in our area and Im not just saying this because of a free meal. Everytime I go there she (the owner ) is always talking to me asking me how I am doing just like a family catching up, plus the service great food and prices is why I will continue to go back time and time again and support such an amazing family! thank you for all that you and your staff do!”

“We hired them for a customer appreciation event and he showed up early and ready to set up with a fantastic selection of ice creams. Everyone loved the ice cream and the service they received. We will definitely be hiring Ramones again soon.”

“If I could give Whirlybird more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. This little gem of a coffee shop has easily become my all-time favorite. I started going a couple months after they opened, originally drawn in by their coffee flights (which are a must-try if you haven't already!), and little did I know I'd soon be driving 20+ minutes on the regular just to get my fix. At this point, I go so often they know me by name! Liz, the owner, is genuinely one of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. You can tell how much heart she’s poured into Whirlybird, and her team of girls? Absolutely fantastic. She’s created such a fun and welcoming environment, and her team is just as incredible. Every single person there is friendly, upbeat, and makes the experience that much better. They genuinely make you feel like you're part of their little coffee shop family. Their drinks are consistently amazing — creative, seasonal, and always something new to look forward to. I love it so much that I even buy their coffee to take home because nothing else compares. And the food? SO good. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful. I truly have nothing negative to say about Whirlybird. My only wish? That they’d open a location in Eau Claire — I’d be there every single day. Whirlybird isn’t just a coffee shop. It’s a whole experience — one that keeps me coming back time and time again.”

“The food was amazing. The service was even better. My child and I have an egg allergy. When we let the server know we wanted to exclude the egg, he asked if it was an allergy. When we said yes, he immediately suggested to add tofu. With no additional fee. Most places charge for adding even if you take something away. I will be going back! Not only for the food that was wonderful, but for the service! It is much appreciated!”

“I have been here twice in the last two weeks and I will be going back next week! The food is absolutely delicious not too spicy and not too mild. I’m a vegetarian and there’s plenty of options so I was very happy about that!. I had the mango lassi the flavor was so fresh! After our meal I had the hot chai very flavorful!
