“We had a buffet lunch at Bullwinkle’s May 2, 2025, to celebrate my wife’s life. There were about 60 guests. Everything was excellent! It was more than expected. The food choices were great and the meal was outstanding. Management and staff treated us like members of their own families. They were not intrusive or hovering and provided loving care for this special occasion. They even allowed us to bring specialty desserts, for which they provided plates, utensils and carry-out containers. It was very reasonably priced. I was so impressed that I am posting this on several websites. In addition to all the superlatives above, I would rate them 5 out of 5 stars – higher! Did I say exemplary? Most highly recommended. “My family and I went here for the first time last week for our daughter’s birthday breakfast. The host greeted us with such a lovely smile and seated us in the best both! (In my opinion) The host briefly chatted with my daughter about their nails, which added to the homey and welcoming atmosphere. Our server Katie was just as amazing! She was so accommodating! My daughter was uncertain about ordering a drink she never had before and Katie was kind enough to bring out a sample before ordering it. Katie gave us the best experience and even went out of her way to take a picture of my daughter and I at their cute photo wall! The food exceeded any expectations we had and was presented beautifully. What a breath of fresh air this place is! We will definitely be back! 100% recommend!”

“I recommend a visit to the Barn. I opened a new shop April 3rd of 2024 a month before the makers mart event in May of this year. What a wonderful opportunity for my new business to get introduced. It’s been a wonderful experience so far and my neighbors have been very welcoming. My new business is called MoeChic the barn shops which is located in the barn on the grounds of Stone wood Village. I’m so excited to be here and I’m loving it. Come visit the shop and meet myself and my greeter, Buddy who is my lovable Burnedoodle. The shop includes a gallery area with unique handmade items created by local artists. Another area is set up as a boutique with women’s clothing, handmade from a several countries purchase through fair trade, a shoe line and many accessories and jewelry. All handmade, artistic and cultural in fashion. And of course the upper level is layed out with vintage, re-purpose an upcycled items mixed with vintage and current artwork. Come visit and see what treasures you can find here.”

“Birthday dinner for my 8YO daughter. Shout out to the entire staff at Wonita Sushi Seafood and Bar. They were super patient with the kids, waiter was awesome and even brought an extra dessert after simply noticing my daughter looking with envy at her brothers choice. Then waiting for the bill, the host (manager/owner?) noticed the kids eyeballing the lobster tank and he pulled up a stool for them to get a better look. He explained to the kids the growth rate of lobsters and we explained it was my daughters birthday dinner. Walking to the car, he chased us into the parking lot and gave her a special birthday stuffed animal. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed with service. Especially as it was just another day to them, we didn’t mention the bday until leaving. We had planned a different place that is closed on Mondays. Glad we tried Wonita. They left a very favorable impression on both kids and they both said they want all future birthdays at Wonita!!”

“My Aunt & I both had breakfast skillets, the hash browns were exactly the way I like them. The accompanying pancakes were fluffy & they brought warmed maple syrup. My Aunt enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice. Our waitress was attentive. I look forward to going back & trying more items off the menu.”

Our waitress!) were so kind, so knowledgeable & ready to answer any questions we had with no judgment. Our waitress was THAT girl. I felt like I was at work with her in the best way possible. I literally did a lil dance after every single bite. 10/10 Experience, 5 stars. There’s a first time for everything. I’m so thankful & lucky that Flemming’s was our first lil fancy date experience. “I said I’d never eat sushi until I tried it for the first time at Katsuya in Studio City. I fell in love with the crispy rice tuna tartare 😋🍱 Until I had it at Wasabi!!! Things will never be the same. No restaurant can make it better!!! The Cali Crunch roll is a close second. This is hands down THE ONLY place I will eat sushi. The staff is amazing and we love to celebrate special occasions here🫶🏼🎊”

“I am utterly delighted that we have a good Caribou nearby in the Milwaukee suburbs. This place has the absolute best cold brew, and the mint flavoring I always get with it is exactly what I'm looking for on either a warm summer day or a cozy winter afternoon. The staff is always extremely friendly, helpful, and generous, and the food orders I've gotten (normally the sausage breakfast sandwich) always come out hot and delicious. The workers at the drive-thru window oftentimes see my dog with me and offer a pup cup, and he loves the attention they give him. Overall, this is easily my favorite chain coffee shop in the area due to the quality of the coffee/food I get, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall ambiance of the shop itself.”

There was a great variety of options from macarons to mousse desserts, and all sorts of cakes as well as gelato.We chose a cake with Dubai chocolate, and it was delicious.
The service by the young man was excellent and we got to meet the owner. She was very friendly, and even permitted me to practice my very rusty French with her. Highly recommend this classy patisserie.”

“This location delivered a solid overall experience with room to elevate. The dining area was generally clean, and the staff presented themselves as polite and professional. Customer service was responsive—when tomatoes were mistakenly added to my order despite a clear request for none, the issue was corrected quickly and without attitude. That kind of accountability matters.

The food itself was good—well-prepared, satisfying, and consistent with brand expectations. I would return based on flavor alone.

That said, execution separates good from great. Drink service lagged noticeably, which disrupted the flow of the meal. While there were no heavily soiled tables, some surfaces had crumbs and should have been wiped down more proactively. Even during slower moments, clean tables are part of the presentation. Ambience is silent marketing.

One key observation: the young lady preparing our food stepped away from the line to handle another task and returned without changing gloves. In today’s climate, guests are highly aware of sanitation standards. Glove changes aren’t optional—they’re visual reassurance.

Overall, this was a good experience with strong potential. Tighten up drink timing, reinforce glove protocol, and stay sharp on table maintenance, and this location can easily move from good to standout. Fair critique. Respect where it’s due.”

“I've had good experiences with the exception of tonight the #5 double cheeseburger deluxe was fine but the fries were the lousiest soggy barely warm usually they are hot and crispy delicious fries but not tonight I spent almost $19.00 for the meal with a large chocolate malt and pretzels. The pretzels were actually cold not Luke warm not warm at all cold so I had to microwave them, fries were beyond repair basically I was very disappointed and it is not the first time it was the second time I felt I wasted good money on a lousy meal. Besides this I have been pleased with the food and service most times but most times is not acceptable people should be pleased every time.”

Update, they actually didn't put the plantbased pepperoni on my pizza, I called and they said they didn't have it and gave me a credit to use later. But the pizza was still delicious!”

“Wonderful gem in Brookfield, off the beaten path. Perfect location, close enough to metro area,but far enough away to give it a friendly neighborhood bar feel. Staff are friendly, efficient and professional. Had a small get together there and it turned into a bigger party than expected. I was impressed by how the waiting staff were able to accommodate us and make everything work out, very impromptu ! The food is exceptional and priced reasonably. NOT UNDERSTAFFED, so the service is very prompt and effective. Friendly atmosphere 🤗”

“I am staying at the hotel this restaurant is attached to, and my initial experiences here were honestly frustrating. However, I hope you read this to the end, because it gets better.
During my most recent visit, there was an issue with the staff. I was in the middle of writing a very negative review because of it, but I need to update this based on how management handled the situation.
The manager came over personally, apologized, took full ownership, and addressed it immediately. She told me the staff involved were let go, and made it clear she was getting things back under control. She also took care of my first drink, which I did not expect, but appreciated.
The food has been consistently good, and the way management stepped in completely changed my impression of the place. There were definitely problems, but they were taken seriously and corrected.
Because of that, I am adjusting my rating from what was about to be a 1 star to a 4. I can respect a business that fixes its issues and takes care of its customers.
The rest of the staff, along with the manager, have been great. I am not going to let a couple bad employees define what is otherwise a good experience. I will be there again, and if the service is as good as I expect it will be. I will adjust this to a 5 star.”
