“How to you review a fast food joint. Well to start with do they create quality food. In this case I would say yes. It is better than some of the other fast food options that are out there. I had the chicken tenders and cajun fries. Both of them were decent for a fast food option. The tenders were lightly battered and the canjun fries had just enough spice on them.

Overall I was happy with this quick stop and getting decent food.“

“Not being from the Midwest this was my first time at a Taco John's. I was able to practice my Spanish with the employees but that was my choice, they speak English. The boss burrito was pretty good. Fresher than Taco Bell. Tater tots were average but there is only so much you cav do to make fast food tater tots exciting.“

“I was at the DeForest Culver in DeForest, WI, for a meet & greet date. The front end of the store where you ordered food was clean & orderly. Employees all had proper uniforms & were clean. The order taker was friendly & greeted us with a pleasant smile. Our food was ordered w/o incident. The soda fountain was clean, & all soda dispensers’ were in working order & clean. Ample lids & condiments were in their designation. Once again, clean & orderly. When the server was bringing our order out, it turned out to have the incorrect order number on it. After walking around trying to find our table, the server asked what we ordered? It was our food. The food was still hot & we enjoyed the meal. Four stars were given due to the mix up of the order number & delay of receiving our order.

The sitting area had several tables that were yet to be cleaned. As I was sitting down at a table, I noticed a special needs individual. He came out & started to clean off the table & sweep the floor. He was also talking to himself loudly.The individual would come up on our table with the broom where we would have to lift our feet due to the broom being taken under our feet. He was also talking to himself; of which, we didn’t care until it was vocalized quite loud right beside us. This, would interfere in our conversation(s). He made it a point to stay & clean right next to us. Very distracting. This is why I gave the “Atmosphere,”three stars.

To sum up our visit, the meals came out suitable, even with the incorrect order number; of course, fresh.The distraction of the employee in the seating area was a bit hindering. I wouldn’t expect it any other way from Culver’s. All-in-all, the meet & great, the food turned out good & a clean Culver’s made an excellent evening. I would highly recommend the DeForest Culver’s. “We stopped at this Madison WI Culvers on our way to Rockford today and our 16mo made friends walking around the restaurant after we ate. The manager was so nice to her, gave her 2 stuffies and meal cards for our next stop through! Thanks, Ana! We'll see you again in a few weeks. :)“

“One name, Gary. Gary was the gentleman that took my order and the counter along with about 5 other customers during my duration of waiting for my food. Gary was the nicest person I have ever encountered while ordering food. Gary went above and beyond with each customer including myself to make each transaction personable. It was a Thursday evening and fairly busy inside and out. Gary greeted each customer with a friendly face and would take it upon himself to take something off someone’s shirt or something they were wearing to start up a conversation. One particular customer was an elderly woman and her middle age son who was mentally challenged. She approached the counter alone but Gary asked for her son to come up too and to not be afraid that he wouldn’t hurt him. Carried on a conversation with him and his mother asking his name and just being in the moment with him while they placed their order that evening. You don’t see people like Gary often enough anymore in the world and it really touched my heart on how he interacted with every person that came to his register as of each person was special in their own way. I’m not one to come inside and order and wait for my food or to take time to do surveys, but this interaction is one I will not forget. We need more people like Gary. I tried doing this on the Survey but it limited me on Characters I could use. Hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears. Thank you“

“Great food, friendly employees, but a bit overpriced.

There is only one thing I've had issues with.. Ordering online and waiting 30 to 40 minutes before going to get my food (because I know it can take a bit to make fresh delicious food), and having my order not ready yet, even with them being slow customer-wise. It's not fun waiting for food for another 10 to 15 minutes while watching others who ordered as I got there getting their food before me. I even use their email to say I'm on my way, a long time before I am, but it does not help.

Besides that, the food is seriously good.“

The service is always fast and friendly, and the food comes out quickly whether you order at the counter or use one of the kiosks. I used to work for Burger King in Jefferson County back during college. I think the few Burger Kings that are left in Wisconsin could really learn something from this particular location.“

“It's just Taco Bell right? WRONG! The Taco Bell in DeForrest WI was freaking amazing. Walked in with 5 hangry kids and 2 fed up parents. Took to long to order, Had to pee. And sleep deprived to boot.

This place was fast, accurate, cleaner than I have ever seen a Taco Bell. And on top of it all, the manager came out like 3 times to make sure it was up to par for everyone in the place.

If that wasn't great enough, we didn't even gas each other out afterwards. So well done by the crew I even stopped to compliment them before I left. Something I never do because its too peopley trying to.

Corporate needs to give the whole staff a raise.“

“I had just got off work & stopped by Culver’s on my way home to get something to-go. I was putting stuff away in my backpack & Lynette was incredibly nice & told me I could’ve did that on the counter instead of the floor. I was about to leave without a frozen custard, but she reminded me & offered to make me one fresh rather than me getting it out the freezer since she said they’ve been there from the time she made them at 9am. The custard tasted great along with the rest of my food“

“Parking: Lots of spots but they keep pretty busy.

Kid-friendliness: There's nice tables to eat ice cream outside and plenty of space on the inside

Wheelchair accessibility: Should be able to roll right on in for a burger and fries and Frozen Custard too.“

“Great food. Quick and consistent. Very friendly staff. Only gripe is inside pick up is a little awkward. They face all the bags with the receipts facing away from the customer. If they are busy at the register you have to turn around all of the bags to find which one has the receipt with your name on it. Suggestion would be to turn towards customer and highlight name on receipt. Other than that this place is really nice.“

“Anytime I visit this location for lunch (around noon) it's always the same Hispanic gentleman at the window, And it should be said that this man deserves all the praise and recognition. Whether I'm the only customer in the drive through or if it is busy beyond belief, He never shows anything but a smile with genuine kindness and professionalism. Every visit through the drive through is a mood booster. I wish I knew his name, Hopefully upper management knows who I'm speaking of and he is rewarded. It is well deserved.“

“I work with Superior Ambulance. We just finished a call in the Madison area. My partner and I wanted to stop in before heading back to our station in Oshkosh. 30 mins to close and we couldn’t fit our ambulance through the drive thru. We walked down the drive thru and were met with the most kind, sincerest service my partner and I have ever experienced. They allowed us into their closed lobby and treated us incredibly well with their service, food, and hospitality. Everyone there was so friendly. Highly recommend this location. The staff greeted us right away with a genuine, friendly hello and had our order started almost instantly. In looking at the previous reviews, It is a bit shocking to me how many people come here to complain about service. Good grief! I hope they at least ask for a bit more of something (more carmel or strawberry juice- whatever) instead of coming here to complain. Nevertheless, always grateful for ice cream and Orange Julius in the heat of summer. It’s always tasty! Plus, it makes me smile and so happy to see all the young people you employ!
