This morning my husband and I placed a mobile order and were stopping at a nearby gas station before picking it up. There is a wind chill of -24 and my car decided to not start and we were stuck at the station. I found out later that after I called Starbucks to tell them we wouldn’t be able to pick it up due to our circumstance, they sent an employee over to deliver our order to us. Unfortunately we had already gotten picked up.

I asked a barista if I could get a little more milk in my drink and she went to get it and this other barista budges into the conversation asking what I needed and I told her a little bit more milk and she told me she gave me all the milk she could when she made my drink. She said they have a “new measuring system” and I already had my allotted amount of milk but would give me ice. I’ve never had a barista argue with me over milk before….
