“We went for the Friday fish fry and it was delicious great taste and huge portions I would highly recommend it. They also have delicious patty melt sandwiches and cheeseburgers. “Ok Bobs will never be in the Zagats Fine Dining Guide, but what the hell; this place has the very best novelty hot dog sandwich anywhere! Everyone who knows this Oshkosh delicacy orders it with the typical and standard condiments - chili, mustard and onions. Julie has been working there forever and rocks! She is a no frills super caring person! If you go through Oshkosh and don’t stop at Bobs - you missed more than you realize.“

“Excellent food,choices for fish fry are walleye,perch and haddock.Loved the perch,all the food is good along with the drinks, the bar area is in the back and always busy, in the summer time there is a huge outdoor patio to eat and watch the planes come in and take off.“

“Very nice bar/grill. This was my first time there. I ordered a Reuben which they made with a hamburger instead of corbed beef. I probably didn't read the menu closely but it was delicious. It was quite chilly in this establishment. My husband had fish which he said was awesome.“

“We were visiting from Port Washington and had to check out one of the oldest buildings in Oshkosh. The owner, Scott, took time to come over and introduce himself and thanked us for stopping in. He explained the history of the bar and provided background stories for the pictures on the wall. Friendly atmosphere, exceptional service, and the pizza & jerky is dynamite! Highly recommend if you enjoy a neighboor dive bar. 10/5 stars!“

“For a bar that looks kinda run down and iffy outside, it sure is in great shape inside! We dropped in for a quick drink on Friday afternoon just to see what it was like. The outside gives the vibe of an old tavern/dive bar so I expected the inside to be the 1980's typical bar but I was definitely surprised to see how new and updated it was! The ladies room was super clean, the furniture in the bar was practically new, the bar was shiny. There was a small but good selection of alcohol and the bartender was friendly and informative about the other local *competition* and goings on in the area. We had already eaten lunch but I think we may drop in for a burger sometime and see what it's got going on.Give it a chance, you will be pleasantly surprised too!“

We went to see a burlesque show,we went to one a week prior in New Orleans and this one at remixx was much more entertaining in my opinion.Just a very friendly environment, probably some of the politest staff of any venues I have been too. one of the preformers who I think may have been a owner? “We happened upon this place recently, what a GREAT experience! The bartenders, Shawn and Kate, were amazing. Our group had a variety of food including pizzas and sandwiches… all were super good! The pizzas are homemade with a variety of crust thickness. The sandwiches were very tasty – recommend the Cuban and a chicken Caesar wrap. Will definitely be back!!!“

They have 9" and 12" frozen pizzas. It was good, with thick cheese and large chunks of meat on a thin crust, but not so good that it deserved mention otherwise. Seems like a nice neighborhood bar, but if you are looking for dinner there are probably better choices.“

“Barley's is my favorite bar! It's basically the "Cheers" of Oshkosh for my group of friends - "where everyone knows your name". Nate, the owner, is one of the most personable guys you will ever meet and he always makes a point to say hello! Thursday nights are the best nights to go, especially when it's meat bingo night! They also do a lot of fundraising for the local humane society, which I really appreciate. Nate and his establishment are a great asset to downtown Oshkosh! I definitely recommend this bar!“

“I felt compelled to write this after seeing another "karen's" review. Look, this is a place to see some of the best regional and national electronic music acts in the US. It is literally the ONLY place near the Fox Valley. And the person who owns this works his butt off to make sure it happens. This place actually deserves a 6 star rating. So, if you're a karen and feel like you have to complain about it cause it's not your style or you dont like live entertainment (which comes with loudish type music) then i suggest you walk in front of a train instead of degrading someone elses hard work to put smiles on his patreons faces. You should be ashamed.But as for the electric lounge, this is highly recommended if you are looking for a nightlife atmosphere with quality sound and high class artists who pass thru. Show this place some love and respect so it can continue to operate and bring us these amazing artists to see.T Willy.“

“Oshkosh favorite of mine since the days when I lived on Irving Ave. while attending UW-Zero. Seems to be able to bridge the gap between townie/student bar as I've seen both groups there. Seems to me that there was a Sister bar in Scottsdale, AZ that has since closed. :(“
