“First trip with grandpa, GiGi, and Norah. Food was amazing as always. Staff was great. Dining room and restrooms were clean. Only complaint is came in for curd burger which was suppose to last all month but was sold out. That’s two years now that they sell out. All Culvers not just Clintonville. It’s Wisconsin for petes sake. They need to at least need to triple order. Maybe we can catch it next year. 😢“

“My parents live in West Bend and had been gushing about this place. They were excited to take us here last night for dinner. When we arrived, the place was packed, even on a dark, rainy Tuesday night. We were quoted 30 minutes before we could be seated. It took around that long, but we just chatted and had some drinks while waiting. Once seated, our waitress was very attentive, and we were able to place our orders right away. Two of us in the group got the Beef Tip Special, one of us got the chicken parm sandwich and one of us got the Buckthorn Burger. As a side, the chili was pretty good, with huge chunks of meat. She asked if we wanted cheese and onions on it, and we said yes, but they didn't bring it out that way. Oh well! The beef tip special was the winner of the evening, by far. For a bar, in the middle of nowhere however, the place had some good food. Would I go out of my way to eat here again...probably not, but if my parents would like to choose to come here again, I would go with them if asked. I think trying this place in the summer would be fun, with all the outdoor seating.“
