“Stopped in recently for the first time and had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Crispy, juicy and hot - served on a toasted brioche bun with fresh lettuce, tomato and a creamy mayonnaise. The Kettle Chips were perfect. Good price and great service. You can tell they care about what they do. Looking forward to trying the meatball sub.“

“Celebrated my daughter’s birthday with 17 people…Tim was outstanding with reacting to us just stopping in with no reservations! He was able to accommodate us with the longest table in the bar area and also assigned Avery as our bartender and order taker. Plenty of appetizers and pizza’s to boot! “This "hole in the wall" bar is a must stop. I love visiting bars like this because of the community they provide. I was welcomed by the locals and had great conversation through my visit.The area is out in the country and can be tricky to find. Once I arrived, there was plenty of street parking as well as a lot in the back The inside was charming with a vintage vibe. Drinks were strong and their menu is lengthy. I ordered a cup of the soup which was styled after the Reuben sandwich. The corned beef was excellent. The soup is creamy and flavorful. I have tried to stop by again but they are only open Tuesday through Thursday. I wish I had checked the menu it because the reviews online show a fish fry but I'm not sure if that's available daily since they're closed on Friday? I hope you find out soon!“

“I visited Twisted Willow for the first time this past weekend while I was in town. Their service and food was exceptional! The inside was beautiful with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere! I would 100% recommend to anyone who is in town.“

“Overall, this was a great spot to grab dinner after a day of disc golf at Brown Deer. Excellent service. It was busy when we went but we never had to wait long for anything. Crowd seemed mostly 60+ i don't think I'd bring the kiddos. Vast majority of the food was excellent, my only complaint was the tuna appetizer. The slices were not of even thickness so some were too fatty, chewy and undercooked. Would also pair much better with a soy based gaze than random pita triangles and upscaled tartar sauce. All said however, would go back. 8/10.“

“I got the Ruben. They use chucks of meat not shaved. Not my favorite, but was flavorful. Also you have to ask for rye or it will come on their yellow bread. The menu doesn't let you know to ask for rye.
I wanted a French dip, but it only comes on their yellow bread.“

“The Gyro, steak Gyro , spinach pie, pork as well. The food here is beyond amazing. There is no Gyro place I know that compares. Our son told us that the fish fry is fantastic as well. The owner handles this business in a way that you can see clearly they care. Great quality. We took some food to the hospital for my mom as well.“

“For DECADES, the Gerndt Extended Family has patronized and enjoyed getting together at Family Table. It was my Parents' favorite place to go and they were very regular customers there. When in town and since I moved back here from Ioea to help care for my parents in their last years, they lived to 95 with Alzheimers, up until the very end I took them to Family Table where we were always treated very well. We especially love the portions having another meal or two to take home, and previously free desserts with the meal which understandably due to the economy even many years ago, that bonus was stopped. But we still love there dessert assortments with me loving their Strawberry Cheeseake! My daughter and I especially carry on our Family Tradition at Family Table, getting together with my son and his wife, my sisters, my nieces, friends. We would love to see them open again on Sundays as it was a great place to go after Church. Hopefully they can get staff to open Sundays again. Even during the Pandemic we loved the way they all learned and properly wore their masks as we continued to patronize Family Table using their carry-out, especially their Friday Night Fish Fries which are spectacular!!! Today, my sister and her husband are here from Lake of the Ozarks near Camden, MO, and where did sister invite us to meet? Yup. Family Table! Great Food, Reasonable Prices, Large Portions, Excellent Service, Wonderful, Comfortable Relaxing. Quaint Atmosphere. I had the Pork Chops Special, w Pork Chops fried covered in mushroom onions gravie meal which included my Baked Potato with Butter and Sour Cream, Salad, and Corn. Super Delicious!!! Every one else's meals were delicious as well. Ehen my Dad and Mom passed away, i told the Manager and staff and they remembered them well and would miss them. I have not been able to frequent the Family Table for several months due to medical issues, but as things get better I/we will be back for sure on a regular basis. Thank you Family Tanle Management and Staff! Great Timrs! I don't think there's a booth or table that we have not sat at through the decades.“

“This was our first visit to the restaurant. We were out of town for the night and wasn't sure where to eat. This was kind of a celebratory night, we had been married for one month. Patty was our waitress and she was simply amazing! When she asked what we were up to and told her she congratulated us and even asked to see some pictures. Our food was delicious. I had the filet mignon and my husband had a burger. Also deserving of a mention was the white chocolate cheesecake we shared for dessert. It was to die for! Great food and great service, we will definitely be back in the future🙂“

“Surprisingly good. Made a reservation just to try a new fish fry so we went to 8900 Bar & Bistro. Easy parking for a Friday night. We were warmly greeted, staff were very friendly and attentive. The fish fry was extremely good and this restaurant offers combinations so I tried the cod and shrimp. The serving size was huge for the money, I actually made two meals out of this. Everything was perfectly cooked. Now I want to try some of their other menu items. Seating was very comfortable. Great value for the money. Will go back to try other menu items.“

“Was in Port Washington for a short weekend and one morning stopped in for a breakfast at the Beacon . It is part of the hotel on the ground floor . It was fairly busy for a breakfast but we were seated immediately no wait . Staff seemed a bit backed up but they did a good job and quickly took our order . Food is good . I wasn’t too hungry so a basic avocado toast with a side of fruit and coffee is all I needed . Tasted good . There is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant/ hotel which is a plus .“

“We attended a family wedding at Milwaukee Ale House on 10/5/24. The party staff was AMAZING. They were professional, attentive, and kept things running smoothly. Sue the coordinator is top notch. She met us the morning of the wedding so that we could set out centerpieces and other decorations. She has great ideas and is super easy to work with, she definitely knows what she is talking about. Jason the bartender makes amazing drinks and is very creative, the best drinks I've had in a long time. Jason also was a pro at handling a guest that had too much to drink, he sensed it and dealt with it in a way that did not embarrass the guest at all. Jamie was working that night as well, she is organized, fast and handled some last minute table changes without a complaint. Sue, Jason and Jamie were wonderful and deserve a pay increase for the services they provide, I am sure they are not making what they deserve. It's not often you come across such hard working individuals and it was truly a pleasure. I will not hesitate to recommend the Milwaukee Ale House to anyone that is looking for a wedding/party venue.“

They have both high chair and booster seats for toddler. We had a party of 6 which included a 16 month old. We ordered Perch, baked cod, regular cod, cheese burger, fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and a variety of cheese cakes. Our food was excellent and served hot. The cheesecakes were a good. We had a awesome manager Rachel. My wife had the pan-fried walleye (huge!) and I had the deep-fried perch (5 generous pieces). Both entrees were delicious. The potato pancakes were a very good side dish, better than a lot of other potato pancakes I've had elsewhere. Service was attentive and the price was very reasonable.“
