“We stopped off for a drink when we were visiting from Scotland, UK this February in the snow. The B&B leaflet says “arrive a guest, leave as a friend” and even for us who just stopped for a couple of drinks, that is how we felt. We were greeted with a smile, the atmosphere was brilliant and many of the locals were happy to chat to us. What a wonderful place, thank you for the welcome. Next time we will stay in their B&B, The Stagecoach Inn.“

“Updated*Came here tonight with my family to celebrate my birthday.First off I will start by saying my reservation was made for 5 and we had a last minute add on and put a 6th so I realize that wasn’t ideal and I’ll own that. The table we had was definitely a 4 seater that they were squeezing us into with 5 then with 6 it was not ideal (which I’ll take responsibility for since again we made our reso for 5.)The food was great! The drinks were also great!The server was not great but management reached out to apologize which meant a lot I’m sure it was a one off situation“

“We got the tempura cauliflower for an appetizer, which was good. I was surprised the sauce came on the side, I would have assumed it'd be tossed, but the portion size was generous and tasty. I got the hipster sandwich, which was a lot and definitely not able to be picked up. I feel like less is more with this dish. I don't think it needs as many toppings and it would still have been delicious. My husband got the Friday fish fry beer battered and smashed potatoes. The coleslaw was good and we're generally not coleslaw fans but the dill dressing made it stand out. The location is amazing, would return again.“
“First of all it was very cold outside, but we were warmly greeted and seated at a nice warm spot:) Our waitress, McKenna, was excellent! The food was terrific and the cherry dessert was a nice ending to our equally terrific experience at the Ale House ?“
“Had a 6pm reservation, but even though it was packed, got us a table early. Cheese curds with ranch and jalapeño ranch were very good, creamy cheese, good taste. jalapeño ranch mild, not overwhelming. Had peartini, and peach pomegranate martini, also very good. All food came out quickly. 2 large Walleye, very moist and flakey, great taste. A little oily, but it's to be expected with thin batter. Fries were done well, with a touch of lemon, or lemon pepper maybe..good taste. Coleslaw also had a different flavoring that complimented the flavor. This is definitely a go to for fish fry going forward!!“

“Seated immediately upon arrival and greeted by our waitress. Restaurant and bar was packed. Staff were focused on taking care of customers and did a fine job. Food arrived about 30 minutes after ordering. Food was served hot and delicious. Everyone in our party were pleased. Highly recommended.“
“I've stopped here a few times, and every time I'm happy with the outcome. The staff is awesome! Their food is great. The service is good too, all things considered... Some days they are absolutely slammed. I hope they're here to stay!“
“Met some friends here for a Saturday night dinner. None of us had ever been here before. A small, quaint, old school kind of place and we loved it immediately. Started off with a few cocktails and the owner/chef Kevin came out and chatted with us for a bit. He explained about his from scratch cooking, and the butchering he does in house. When we were ready, Kelly seated us and took care of us. Service was fantastic! Everyone loved their food - our table had the prime rib, ribeye, pork cutlet and a fish. The entrees came with a soup or salad, and a side/potato. I can say the cheesy au gratin were very yummy. It reminded us of dining in a friend's home, not a big fancy restaurant. We felt like regulars even tho it was our first time. No complaints from us. Ended the night with a grasshopper/cocktails and a lot of laughs with our friends.“
