“We absolutely loved The Orville! Went to celebrate my husband's birthday and Valentine's Day, but decided to skip the hustle and bustle of V-Day. Sam was such a sweet and attentive waitress, couldn't ask for better service! We had the best artichoke dip I've ever had, I think it was the grilled toast that really did it, but the dip was amazing too! I had Lobster Mac & Cheese and my husband had a beautiful salmon dish...both perfect, and can't wait to have the leftovers from my Mac (huge chunks of lobster!). I had a lavender martini, simply lovely and delish! Tried my husband's old fashioned and yummmm to that too, had a cinnamon twist to it. We'll be back, hands down. And the ambience and lighting make for a very romantic time. Oh and they gave my husband a birthday card that everyone signed! Gave him a choice of dessert, just so sweet, no pun intended. It would be hard to find a better salted caramel creme brulee. Then since we had a late reservation Sam so kindly said we could take all of the remaining roses 🌹 🌹 🌹. They smell heavenly. Thank you all, we're so excited to have found you, when I heard it was the sister restaurant of The Norbert I knew it would be fantastic, but that's an understatement!!!“

“Have had a few lunches and one dinner here. Lunch not too busy, dinner gets crowded by 6:00. Staff friendly and welcoming. Food has been better than average but not highend dining. Flatbread is great and enough for two. Friday fishfry 4-stars. $40 for two, without drinks.

Will certainly be back often.“

“We were a first timers at Wallers, and decided to take a chance on this place on a Friday night. Even though I read others reviews, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect….and after arriving a tad after 6, parking was very hard to come by…. This is usually a good sign in my book.

After being pleasantly greeted after walking in, I saw a lot of the wait staff and the bartenders like busy bees…. All of them seemed to be in a happy mood.

We were ushered to our table in the large dining area. Pictures posted by others were accurate. Several larger groups of 8+ were around and the room was a buzz of chatter…. Not too loud, just right.

Our server Nicole gave us some time to read thru the menus and we ordered after a bit. Since it was Friday night, we chose the fish fry, my wife the beer battered cod, myself the peach. While we waiting we enjoyed view out the large glass windows that overlooked the lake and saw the pontoon boat launch and return with guests, the free ride around the lake with Captain Max (who by the way had some great stories to share on our trip, a couple seemed pretty fishy).

Our dinner arrived what seemed like eternity, however being patient was rewarding…. Both selections of fish were awesome… some of the best beer battered cod and perch we’ve had across a dozen counties.

Guys, it’s worth it. All around the staff was great, the view during diner was excellent, and the boat ride was like icing on the famous carrot cake they serve…. My only downgrade on the experience was the very long wait for dinner. It turned out to be well worth it, however for fried fish, well beyond my expectations on time.

Now…. It’s your turn to make a reservation….“
